| Is it possible if the post count for each member could be shown along with the information displayed beneath each avatar? Previous forums that I have contributed to have had this feature, and I find it useful. Its not a necessary feature, just a useful one. | This has been asked many times before already and denied as many, it would bring a sort of ?litist" feeling for those with many post. When you read it, it sounds downright silly, but I assure you past experience shows that displaying post count in the postbit does more harm than good. It becomes a measure of quality - a "quick-reference", if you will, of someone's credibility. | Yikes, I get 0.26. That's pretty bad. Oh well, it's not as if I'm the worst member here... You're certainly not. I got 0.102  then again I am still pretty new to this forum.Back on topic though, I don't think people's post count should be seen under their avatars. As peopl have said before it gives people something to brag about and flaunt when really alot of their posts might be spam. | I think that the rep system is way better than post count because now you can know whether someone or not usually post good posts. It also fulfills the role of letting you know who is newer or older because in a sense, the more you post the more likely you are to get good rep.
