If a level has the ace symbol on its badge, you have aced it.2010-03-28 15:18:00

THANKS GUYS YOU ARE THE BEST :

so if the gold ace badge is there, and if i haven't died i have aced that particular level - right? and all i have to do is not die? you don't have to get all the score bubbles to ace a level do you? good.

so...what do you get for acing levels? costumes, music, - what exactly?

you get costumes at the end for acing (I think, if its the same as LBP PS3), and no, you don't have to get all the score bubbles. Quite simply, you have to finish the level without dying AT ALL. Then. when you've aced it, a gold "ACED" badge appears on the badge of the level you've aced (Badge looks like the ace on a pack of cards). Hope this helps.2010-03-28 21:53:00

Collecting all the bubbles is another matter If you collect all the big (prize) bubbles in a level then you'll be awarded some bonus prizes on the scoreboard You'll know if you have done this because a little golden sack icon appears on the level badge. When you load a level, if you scroll right a few times instead of selecting "Play" you can see how much stuff you have left to collect 2010-03-29 13:16:00

Bumping: The act of replying to an ancient thread in an effort to "bump" it to the front page of the list of threads. Another type of bumping, double posting, is the more frowned-upon method of bumping. As the name suggests, it involves posting another reply in a thread in which you were the last poster. This results in two (or sometimes more) posts in a row by the same person. To avoid this, edit your original post instead of posting a new one.

They will, don't worry. Sometimes even seasoned users bump threads if it's an amazing thread/idea and it's no longer on the first page... but it doesn't usually result in a double post, and only in extreme cases.2010-03-31 20:02:00

Due to data parity issues with LBP, double posting will often result in the removal of in-game aced symbols. If you notice that some of your levels have not been aced, but you could have sworn you did, then this is likely the issue.

There are several ways to combat this issue. First, try to make sure you only use your PSP in areas of relative humidity, such as in your washroom with the hot water turned on. Breathing into your PSP's microphone will also work, but take care not to hyperventilate. If these methods are not feasible for you, a static induction prior to level load can often counteract the problem. The best way to achieve this is to shuffle around on cheap carpeting in polyester socks and touch your nose to a refrigerator EXACTLY WHEN you select a level icon. Timing is very important in order for this to work. Alternately, make sure to incorporate the words "face" and "palm" into all of your posts - this represents the PSP's form factor and is integral to the operating system. The PSP's IDK (irony detection kernel) module will recognize this a level-undo-logarithm z-axis recalculation (LULZ) and may re-partition your aced level status.

My apologies for the technical nature of this post, as I know it can be confusing. I would be happy to elaborate on any of the above if you're still having problems.

There are several minigames that you cannot ace. I don't have my PSP in front of me right now so I can't give you the complete list, but the surfing minigame is one of them.2010-04-20 19:22:00
