I didn't quite put much dialog in there, but I'll be sure to add it all in. I don't really put music in any of my levels but sure I'll put some in.

Hi, TheNerd. Nice level. If you add more story line, more decorations and will do more interesting backtracking parts your will have great level. Right now I can give you 3.5 stars for this Beta. Good Luck!2010-03-29 11:38:00

You got it. So far I'm making it longer by adding a different story line. I do not really decorate much with stickers. Not that I don't like stickers, but I felt no need for them in this level. I'll see what I can do though. Backtracking, there will definitely be more of that.

Thanks memorex, still choosing which music would best fit the level, but I'll get it sooner or later. For the storyline, I got one. It'll make the level lag a bit, but not anything too laggy. I'll probably finish before the week ends. So don't worry

Hello TheNerd. You?re doing a nice job here, but you still having some problems and as this is a beta, I?ll try to give you some suggestions. First, the place where a giant fire rock is chasing you it's a little fast, because this fall down too fast and you don't have time to run, and then, you just reappear at the checkpoint. Maybe you can fix this by changing the place of the prox. sensor and then you?ll have a little more time to have a propper reaction.
Then, your background is too simple. Yeah, I know that this is just a cave, but maybe you can add some scratched walls or some stalactites or things like that.
And finally I hope you can add more sections to your level because its a little short.
Well, afterall you?re making a really good job, there are only some details that can be improved. I?ll be waiting for the complete version.

Yeah I thought that was gonna be a problem but don't worry I fixed that.

Hmm maybe I'll add some stickers to lighten the mood of people's hunger for decorations.

Don't worry I added a storyline so there will be more stuff in there. I just have to put music, checkpoints, bubbles, and stickers then I'm done. Thanks for playing the BETA though. I hope you will enjoy the completed version, hopefully.

Just played the not-beta version and couldn't finish. :-( I ended up stuck doing the grip-jumping over the grey gas in the second part of the cave. No matter what I did I could not jump to the fourth block. It was really great up to that point! I wanna see the end.2010-04-05 02:50:00

I knew that would be a problem. I'll try fixing it. I only have some plays for it so I don't mind re-publishing. But, if you can keep trying a bit more maybe you can make it. Try holding your analog stick the the right while pressing the "R" button repeatedly. If it does not work then it's re-publishing time. I just noticed my BETA has more plays than my completed version.

Hey there The Nerd,

I just finished your completed version. I like that you added a reason for going through your level. It made it seem like Watsitooya was just some crazy guy who made people jump through hoops to go through his cave. Also the bright green detailed setting for the beginning and ending contrasted well with the barren cavern which itself was very intricate. I appreciated the clever designs as a creator. Some of the back and forth got to a bit much due to the fact that it was so close together and many times in would be on flat ground. Something like interesting terrain to transverse , an obstacle or a swing would make it feel less repetitive. I did have a little trouble with the grip section that Xacktar mentioned. When I treated like it was a single strip going across the ceiling it was easy. But I can see it confusing a number of players. The only other thing I wanted to mention was the speech bubble at the beginning by the tire. You placed it on the tire so it looked like the tire was talking. Moving it to just before the tire on background and then setting a more sensitive trigger would make it seem like the bubble was coming from the sacks mouth. Playing with the camera angles helps sell it as well.

Fun level with cool mechanics. four stars & a heart.

So I was playing through this level and found it just empty. I liked the way you did puzzles and the way you used space but I think you needed a little bit more corner editing and some stickers. Also I would really suggest adding arms to your people in the level. I gave it 3 stars.2010-04-07 01:31:00

I will fix the grip climbing section and add more stickers and fix up some more things. Thanks for all the feedback. I count this as my first official level, so I still have to get used to fixing problems in the level. I will re-publish as soon as I can.

And here's a little announcement for everyone:

I decided I am moving to the PS3 version of the game. I will still make few levels for the PSP, but more levels on PS3. I will start creating on PS3, at the middle point of May. But, I will finish my newest project, "The Great Flood"

Hello TheNerd!!!.
First of all, sorry for posting you my feedback of the complete version too late, but here is it.
You?ve listened all the tips of the community and you?ve turned a level with a good potential into a very good one. Nice!!!
I like all your improvements, and also is fantastic to see how a simple character like Watsitooya who only appears a few times in the level can be pretty nice.
Nice dialogues and good environments, I see that you made a few improvements to the cave and it's fantastic.
The only problem is that the level still being so short, but however is great.
Well, you won :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart.
Greetings!

Have I replied?
Anyways, I didn't expect to be as good as I thought.
I enjoyed the cave so much. Small puzzles, not so confusing, but it was fun!

I'm guessing the point of the cave was to show how well your good with mechanics?
Anyways, once I played the level, I thought you were getting used to your mechanics. Which is good!
Anyways, there's not much of a story line, but it was well made with good terrain.

I don't got much to say about your level, but the fact that you did good.
Enthusiastic effort, Exciting visuals, and Earned a well rating.

5 stars :star::star::star::star::star: I think I hearted the level, I'm not sure...
Anyways, I'll be looking forward to what you make next.

Of course my next level is "The Great Flood"
I think you've seen it in the ideas/project section.
Check it out if you haven't.

Great level Buddy!!

This was a joy to play. The art style was very nice, and your mechanics worked great. Good story too, and I liked the way you told it. I played this level a few to times to get the ace and I got the high score too!! You must be like me, I always try to let someone else get the high score on my levels, because I know for sure you could get it own your own level.

I gave you five stars and heart and a heart as creator too.

Great job!!

Hidy Ho TheNerd! Thanks for the feedback on Destiny (my newest level). My level might not have been F4F, but I still have the decency to return the favor, so here I am with some feedback

-The start of the level looks great, and I laughed at the fact that my friend broke his ... every...

-The cloud background looks awesome at the level that you built the level at! I'm going to have to use this background for future levels because it is excellent!

-Wow, that platform falling and then being tossed up was a cool way to open up a path :-)

-I'm really liking the mechanic of push button/pull level --> open path in unique way

-Man, all of the shifting stuff when you push buttons and such is awesome

-Very good camera angles to help me see the obstacles that I need to dodge!

-But I want the big jackhammer

-Interesting idea to have the player need to grab a series of 4 sponges in order to proceed. I was actually a bit confused at first, but I figured it out

-Hmm... while you climb a long the roof, you toss a Cut Scene speech bubbles which forces the player to fall. I assume that it is intentional, but since you don't have time to read it, it is impossible to know what was just said. I actually find that a bit confusing. It certainly isn't a reason to republish (DO NOT REPUBLISH FOR THIS), but it is something that you might not want to do in the future.

Okey Dokey, just finished!

I had a really good time with this level. The basic mechanics of the level were great, and it looked really good as well! Awesome work TheNerd!

I like this level, it had a very unique feel to it, I always like a level where you meet someone new and they help you out, I don't know why though. The visuals were also a plus in this level, it was a nice partner with the amazing gameplay. I laughed when I tryed to use the big jackhammer. The end was funny too.

You know, the actual word was everything, but the magic mouth cut it off. But, very awesome that it was funny.

-The cloud background looks awesome at the level that you built the level at! I'm going to have to use this background for future levels because it is excellent!

No other background seemed to fit, so I got the idea of using the same one as "Up and Away in Skytown", just placing the whole level really high in Tinsel Town.

-I'm really liking the mechanic of push button/pull level --> open path in unique way

Glad it worked out

-Very good camera angles to help me see the obstacles that I need to dodge!

Glad they helped you as well.

-But I want the big jackhammer

Aha, maybe next time...

-Interesting idea to have the player need to grab a series of 4 sponges in order to proceed. I was actually a bit confused at first, but I figured it out

I almost forgot that as well, when I was testing the level.

When I tested the level at first for bugs, I almost forgot what to there.

Yup, I definitely knew something was wrong with that. it wasn't intentional, but for some reason I didn't want to put a cut scene there, even though I knew I should. Thanks, I will consider it and test my levels more often.
