I've been working on a haunted house level and I had just added a few touches with the middle skinny wall tool and tried to give it a test play. It crashed my psp. So I rebooted and tried to edit the level. It crashed. Tried to play it. Crash. I didn't have a backup of this level. Am I done for... or is there a way to recover it?

The search function reveals a solution (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=19461-The-corrupt-profile-thread-(Back-up-your-data-NOW!)) to your problem, as well as several similar problems. Unfortunately, if you don't have a backup, you'll need to start your file from scratch--BUT you may be able to recover your levels. I face a very similar situation to you right now.

For me it is just the one level, not my entire profile. I've been looking around but it looks like I'm stuck with just killing the whole level until the game is patched next. I just thought someone more knowledgeable than me might know, like the people around these forums.

For now I'm hoping the reason my level won't load after making a new file is because I haven't unlocked everything I've used in my level...but I'm hoping for the best, planning for the worst.
