PSP version: Grid always on?

How do I turn off the grid in create mode. I must of turned it on at some point and I can't figure out how to turn it off.2010-03-25 01:24:00

There's no on/off setting for the grid - it appears automatically (or not) depending on what you're doing. If you're using the square or circle "brush tool", you will see the grid. Otherwise, there is never a grid.2010-03-25 01:32:00

So if you want to make weird shapes you have to make a square and then use the edge tool?2010-03-25 01:40:00

I don't hate it. In fact, it's good that Cambridge is making the player rely on the Corner Editor instead.2010-03-25 01:51:00

I second that

I would actually like it if they made a way to turn the grid mode ON when moving or sizing objects. I would also like a way to decide between a smaller and bigger grid size for the brush tool.

I don't really see a problem with the brush tool. You can easily make rough shapes and shape them however you want with the corner editor.

The PSP corner editor is thankfully superior to the PS3 version, and once you get used it you'll never go back to the "old way". That reminds me: Always corner edit everything, even if you don't need to. It prevents material shifting (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=19330-Material-shifting-experiment-results-confirmed%21).

*tips hat to Gilgamesh*

As for making grid-based shapes in different scales, just make whatever shape you want and then resize it to the final scale you want.

You mean that wasn't fixed? I thought it was...

*sigh*

*sigh*No, I don't think it was. If you look at the picture from What Would Sackboy Say round 1, you can see how the body (arrow) of the vehicle has drifted away from the rocket engine and the grab sponge. That was after only about 3 saves/reloads too, so drifting is still very much an issue.

Good to know. Do you have to actually edit it by chaning it or can you just add a point with the edit tool?2010-03-25 20:02:00

Err... I think points will do (I think).

As for Taffey's crying Sackboy, maybe he's crying because of the overpriced DLC it took to get the "awesome Hand Sticker".

The easiest method is to create an extra square that sticks out of a flat area of your shape - use the corner editor's lasso tool to select all 4 unwanted points at once and just delete them.2010-03-26 01:20:00
