Is the 3D glitch fixed?

Archive: 6 posts

Or is it just me? Whenever I try to make a 3D layer in the foreground and background they always cancel each other and either break, or get on top of one another. >_> I cant have them on the same level.

Here are a few pics:

That won't work because your foreground object also goes into the background. 2010-03-24 18:01:00

Always has been like that for me unless I stick some dark matter on them. Last thing I heard was that they are not going to fix it.2010-03-24 18:02:00

Nope, this has always been the case. You cannot overlap background layers with other background layers or the back thin normal layer.

Also, you cannot overlap foreground layers with other foreground layers or sackboy himself.

And for the record, the name "3D glitch" is quite silly, as all of LBP is 3-dimensional. Wouldn't it make more sense to consider this the extra-layers glitch?

You can make them overlap by attaching Dark Matter to each piece, but you have to copy them into place (you cannot move a piece behind another, nor move them once they are overlapped). Try playing around with DM pieces and it will make more sense.

Edit: Wow. Beaten by not one, not two, not three, but four people!

From what i've learnt you cant stack them, as they both use the back 'thin' layer apparently2010-03-24 18:04:00
