Two Headed Japanese Dragon Tattoo

Since the site has an arty corner I figured I'd throw something I drew out there! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/Almwitch05/dragon22eek.jpg | 2010-03-24 02:08:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
nice drawing... I actually drew a two headed dragon in the infinity shape with one end breathing fire and the other breathing water.. then me and two of my bestest buddies got it tattooed. | 2010-03-24 02:24:00 Author: cdubb024 Posts: 247 |
Is it symbolic, or random eye candy? Really awesome though | 2010-03-24 02:54:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
One head is just like chilling and thinking, the other is screaming and going crazy. Having a balance of these two qualities is the symbol. Yin and Yang, good and evil, I think it's vital to have a bit of both. | 2010-03-24 03:52:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
Wow nice pic Banshee. It must have taken a while to do all those lines! | 2010-03-25 13:08:00 Author: SR20DETDOG Posts: 2431 |
Very nicely done. The linework is virtually faultless and shading looks smoothly done in PS? Did you pen & ink the lines? I do prefer the coloured version though.. http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs49/i/2009/193/e/4/Japanese_Dragon_Final_by_Almwitch.jpg Rhy | 2010-03-26 00:55:00 Author: Rhyfelwr Posts: 606 |
Thanks guys BUT ehhhh Gah! I don't like the colour version! I prefer black and white, I love shading with pencil so I have a thing for that kind of shading. Everything was done in photoshop with a tablet. I was contemplating printing it and getting some tracing paper and doing it by hand to get a more genuine tattoo design look but in the end I didn't bother doing that. | 2010-03-26 02:30:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
I think you have done really great job. Actually the picture of the dragon is really great and thats why I like the picture. Basically the color combination and the creativity is really amazing. So I admire the painter for making this lovely picture. | 2010-07-15 09:51:00 Author: jesonkwilliam Posts: 3 |

Oi those look really good m8, seems you didn't miss details. (Ntw, i think that's a chineese dragon no?? Well, not 100% sure tho) I'm fairly certain it's Japanese. Ok wait I do a little research. Ok apparently Chinese dragons have 5 toes, Japanese ones have 3 toes, mine has 3 That is virtually the only difference I can find lol. | 2010-07-15 18:22:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
