Google search failed. I already have the setting to load disk when inserted, but can I make it load disk when PS3 is turned on? Is it possible? Thanks

I think it works if you have only one account on there. My PS3 used to do that before I added sub-accounts.

Get in your time machine of choice and travel back to the time before the whats new section was added it worked then.

Get in your time machine of choice and travel back to the time before the whats new section was added it worked then. Haha! Yeah, it use to boot disc when you turn on PS3 until the firmware update that added that what's new section somehow disable it.

Settings > System Settings > Disc Auto-Start Is on, it only works when you insert a disc not when you boot up. Maybe disabling the What's New section would help then. Doesn't have any effect.

Is pressing a couple of buttons really that difficult. I'm one of those people that has disc auto start off becauase i dont like it.

This used to happen to me as well before my sis and dad made a sub account on the ps3, not sure how to do it automatically though.

Oh yes. I remember it working before I added a sub account. But even if I deleted by sub account, the new "whats new" would prevent it from auto loading? @robotiod: It's not difficult, just much more time consuming. When I get home I turn on PS3, get food/settled/etc, then have to press the X button then wait againfor the darn game to load up. >:| I am just trying to optimize my limited free time.

The PS3 can't do that, yet. I think it's because most people don't have a problem waiting a couple seconds for the PS3 to start up and click "x" on the game. Maybe in a future update? =O

Arh! No one else annoyed by this? I'm not even slightly annnoyed. I usually check my friends list first. It's not much of a hassle to wait a few seconds to start up a game, heck, it probably takes you longer to read this post =P
