i know ill probably sound like a noob but, what do sprung bolts do exactly???

I don't use sprung bolts a lot but they act like springs in a bolt. So you could have a platform, attach it to some kind of support with a sprung bolt, now you have a diving board!

It's like a normal bolt, but if you move the object out of position, it will try to spring back into the first position.

Its a bit like a bolt with a spring attached, (get it? sprung? Yeah, i don't either.) so all you need to do is set its strength, and where it will spring back too. I didn't get them when i was new to LBP, so don't worry about it.

also good for making accelerometers. if you are into that kind of thing If you play the Savannah levels or the islands levels, thats how they make all the branches and stuff you walk on sway under your weight. Hmm. I just had me an idea....

Sprung bolts are also very useful as protractors. If you want to evenly space out, say, mag switches around the edge of a wheel, you can use a sprung bolt, and keep increasing its angle by the same amount each time.

Sprung Bolt: A bolt with a recoiling spring enabling it to retract to its programmed angle and rotational patterns. This can be varied on the tightness of the bolt, the weight of the load exerted on the material, and the position of the bolt on the material. Probably the best definition you'll get.
