| I'm definitely gonna want to check this out... You know... there was a review of this in the last issue of Game Informer. They gave it 8.5 and mostly have nice things to say about it. | i've been playing 3d Dot Heroes since it came out here in Japan, and i definitely recommend it without reservations. The game itself is beautifully done, it's fun in that nostalgic grew-up-with-Zelda mode, and with all the subquests and minigames it winds up pretty big. As for the earlier comment about lack of puzzles; they're in there, it's just that they, too, are in that original Legend of Zelda mode. Lot's of block pushing and "how do i get to that chest from here" type of stuff. If you like (or at least don't mind) that style, there'll be more than enough for you. Also, it's the only game i can think of off the top of my head where you can have a floating book for a main character (sure, you have to design it yourself, but still...) | I was thinking... or reading someone else's opinion... but this would fit itself perfectly for a level creator ;o Like if they allowed you to use the block editor to make monsters with animations set to deal various amounts of damage... make objects and stuff... all using the blocks... | Okay, so I heard about this game before, but I never really kept up with it. I just watched all the trailers you guys posted here and listened to the BGMs, and, I gotta say, that's enough to make me shout "DO WANT! DO WANT DO WANT DO WANT!" at the mere mention of this game. But I've been spending so much money lately, I'm not sure I"ll be able to afford it. Which makes me a sad panda. EDIT: Yeaaahhh... I didn't realise this was only a $40 game instead of 60. So I hopped on Amazon and got Day 1 shipping for, like, $43. IMO, it's better than going to GameStop because it'll save me gas and it helps me be that much more lazy. | i just bought the game and its pretty fun...you'll instantly feel nostalgia when you hear the music...and here is a treat for a lot of you not only can you make your own character....but you can copy the EDIT file (the save file of your character) and upload it online so others can download and share and play in their games (the game lets you play your regular saved file and you can switch characters anytime you want) which has made people develop cool characters like BATMAN and LINK and MEGAMAN and such and upload them for all to see...someone even made a forum so you can upload your own and REQUEST characters to be made and play them in your game hope CC doesnt mind me promoting another forum...since its not LBP based GET 3D DOT HERO GAME CUSTOM CHARACTER DOWNLOADS HERE (http://www.thegeorama.com/3ddotgameheroes/) i'll be registering soon and maybe trying my hand at creating for that community...hope you guys will aswell | 2010-05-13 00:34:00 Author: Shadowcrazy  Posts: 3365 |

The good news is whatever one is related to the From Cave is still active for me (it's apparently quite easy to mess up) for the moment. But my plan is to just play through the game and have a great time. Then, with NG+, I'm going to work on getting all the sidequests and everything. Someone tells you to do this that this that this and then that, and you have to remember all that as it is never written down for you. true but they also aren't insanely difficult or impossible...you just need patience and to read carefully....and in this game they take it REALLY easy on that....you shouldnt be lost...unless you're trying to multi-task or something  i can tell you right now my only gripe with the game is trying to get perfect scores on the minigames...and that ********** circuit dash....and thats because i want to platinum the game and get the awesome swords....but other then that....this game is VERY enjoyable...especially making our own characters....creating a sort of backstory in our heads... and sharing our stories with friends along the way....i might make a thread about that lol....just because id be interested to know what you all have created and their backstories and such | 2010-05-15 00:24:00 Author: Shadowcrazy Posts: 3365 |

| Fully agree about the minigames, block defence isn't too bad, blockout could get a little frustrating at times but dash circuit is the most evil minigame in 3ddgh made even more annoying by the times you get 2 great laps then mess the third up completely or finish a fraction over the target time. From mode was a fun challenge going beyond the usual lazy hard mode act of making enemies a bit harder to kill and you take a bit more damage with its inclusion of touger enemies on the world map like knights and magi as well as randomising the enemies that spawn iin most areas. Spelunker wasn't too difficult really but the one hit kill did get annoying on dungeons with a long distance to travel to get to the room you want. | i got it maxed and i'll say this: "you won't be able to see anything on screen when you sing :3" I just maxed it tonight and I was fighting through the last place. I was fighting some dragon and I couldn't even see his fireballs. I ended up just standing in the doorway and guessing that I was hitting him. LOL. | also anybody notice that if you go to the trophies section and press square the overhead says something along the lines of additional DLC or something (square button on a specific game trophy set will order them based on DLC) so yeah since it puts itself into its own group....maybe some DLC will come sometime? idk That might just be the new standard way of doing things.
