Certain sounds dissapearing.

Hey everybody.

Some weird things are going on with the sounds in lbp and I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

What happens is at random points, either in a level or in create mode (create and play mode) the 'swooshing' sound that happens when you jump dissapears. It totally vanishes and there is no sound when I jump at all. Everything else like, sounds (the speaker sounds) and music are fine but its just the jumps that go silent.

Also, sometimes when in create mode, the sounds of the corner editor go really quiet. Either when you select a corner or delete one, the beeping sounds are barely audiable.

ANyone else having this problem?

That happens when you work on a larger object or the middle of the object is further. Really annoying.

I've noticed this. particularly the jumping sound, the checkpoint spawn noise, impact noises (not speakers, the actual noise materials make when colliding, and some other sounds besides speakers/music dissapear2010-03-22 17:36:00

I noticed this too. It usually happens when I have my PS3 on for 4+ hours. The jump/slap/scoreboard crowd cheering noises disappear sometimes. It's fine once I give my PS3 a restart, though. c:2010-03-22 17:54:00

Woah, yah I've had this too. Specifically I think I've gotten it a lot from deleting stickers. The crack noise completely stops for a few seconds.2010-03-22 17:58:00

All of this happens since Leerdammer guys. I swear it wasn't there before that.

i think it has to do with processing all the sounds. cuz if you put 2 complicated music boxes in a level, even if you space them far apart, it will only let 1 or 2 notes play at a time. annaoying, but its the system specs, not a glitch. it cant process that many sounds at once.2010-03-23 01:28:00
