Connecting a switch to a checkpoint

Archive: 7 posts

Is there anyway to connect a switch to a checkpoint? As in the PS3 version.

I want my course to be an one life course. And if you die, you spawn at a place where it's called Restart. Instead of spawning at the beginning.

As of right now, I don't think you can connect a switch to a checkpoint.

It sounds like what you want, however, is a moving checkpoint. Just connect the checkpoint to a piston and set it up to move to the Restart area after you enter the level.

Hmmm... Do you mean below the floor of the level? No.

What you can do though is make your own floor out of material and then you can move the checkpoint underneath that.

Oh god.... Why didn't I think about that. I dropped the restart part, because I have published the level. The way I did was connecting a piston to an platform, where the checkpoint was stickered to. But it broke several times, and I dropped it..2010-03-21 19:13:00
