mines supposed to be 137+. I stress supposed to because i work in the backroom of a walmart lifting things and putting them on shelves for a living. that and i'm frequently distracted by things like tinfoil. in reality its probably closer to that of you'r average wooden fence post. The trouble with the whole question of IQ scores is how many of us have really had a real one. Like administered by a professional test and not the ones online. According to the online ones I fall into the "gifted" category but really what does that mean. Not a whole lot. lol2010-03-18 21:14:00

A proper IQ test has open ended questions, not the standardized testing approach. There is no what's 2+2 or anything like that, its more "tom has 2 cans of size x and y, how can he use them to fill a bucket with a certain amount of water?"

Honestly, you are being spied upon. targeted advertising for the win, eh? It has to do with the content of the page the ad space is on. also, check your browser's cookies for sites like doubleclick.net and such. they store info for people that run the ad servers that the ad space is connected to.

tis the law of the interwebs that you will be spied upon, even if it is technically passively done.

Even "proper" IQ tests are generally considered of little worth. The simple fact that you can study for an IQ test demonstrates that they aren't realyl of any worth. Practice at IQ test questions will improve your scoring significantly, yet arguably not improve your actual intelligence.

Well, various IQ tests will give people different answers of their IQ, so if you really wanna complare, you could choose two or three specific tests, ask people to take and post theirs scores on each test, should give a clerarer look on what you want to know.2010-03-18 22:46:00

The only time I ever took an IQ test was in 2nd grade. Apparantly, mine was over 170. ^_^

The average IQ for any person is 100, given how it works. The formula for IQ is as follows:

IQ = (test age/chronological age) x 100

For example:
(50/50) x 100 = 100
If you were 50 and scored an "age" of 50 on the test, you'd still have an IQ of 100. Normal. So, either everyone on this forum is a genius, or you're all just making up crap.

Also, never trust online IQ tests. They are complete BS. They will raise your score dramatically to make you feel special about yourself.		2010-03-22 03:12:00

I had an IQ test in school, in which I scored 135 (moderately gifted). I've also done a few more tests over the years and the results have been pretty consistent, 134-135 every time. I wouldn't put much faith in the results of one test alone, but I keep scoring the same on different tests so I guess it must be pretty accurate.2010-03-24 11:06:00

I don't believe when someone says it's 170 or highers because an IQ like that is very rare. Only a few people habe such an high IQ. The IQ of Einstein was 160-180 so I really doubt that. If you say yours is higher then that you must talk about an internet test but those tests are worth nothing because they aren't accurate or realistic at all. You have to make a real one at a psychologist to really know your IQ. My IQ is 139 and that is really rare already.

About the question if the IQ changes after the time, the answer is yes. If you don't train it you can loose some of of your points but if you keep on training your brain it raises.		2010-04-01 12:57:00

I know and I just doubt that. I'm sure he just made an internet test because it's not very realistic to say that your IQ maybe beats Einstein. It's very rare to have an IQ higher then 130 so that would be very impressiv.2010-04-01 22:44:00

I have tried to take a test, but it took so much time, I had to go to eat dinner... BRB, I am going to take some tests...

EDIT:
Ok, first test showed I had an average IQ of 67... then it turned out to be some stupid joke from another website. I feel slightly mad right now... HERE'S JONNY!!!

THe next I took, gave me an IQof 142, which made me feel slightly better, and it may be a little lower, as I answered randomly on some of the tasks, I just wildly guessed. And that one did not look like a fake... That's good.		2010-04-01 23:36:00

No matter what test you do online u'll never get a real result. Only a psychologist has a real test that goes about 1-2 hours with hundrets of questions about logic.2010-04-02 00:40:00
