I rented this from Blockbuster and when i played it i quite enjoyed it, i love how its more about tactics than cod and of course it has 256 player games which is pure epciness lol so yeah i like it

I've heard that its pretty bad :/ I think it's brilliant. The people who generally dismiss it are those who are too used to COD games and can't grasp the new game style, pacing and controls. Though it is sloppily made. Probably because Zipper were also working on the new Socom at the time.

Bought it and joined Raven. Though at the irst match I had a disconnection to the server due to my internet sloppy connection that day. Now my PS3 has YLODed, so no gaming or a while

I think the graphics on MAG are brilliant - It's a kind of 'Borderlands' cartoony and bold style to it, except for the fact that everything looks more realistic. I joined Raven and i'm currently level 21...I think.

I was quite interested in picking this game up back when it was announced. I was not won over by the beta though, and it seems like a game with a really steep learning curve and a LOT of time and experience required before it really opens up and becomes the game it could be. Which will probably keep me away from it. But I am interested in hearing how it goes for those who did pick it up!

You're right, the game has a very steep learning curve. The lack of a decent tutorial doesn't make matters any better. However, once you get past the first awful 15 levels, then the game actually becomes fun.

Scratch me off the list... I just traded it away. Sure at first it was all cool and stuff, but by the time i reached lvl 28 it got kinda boring and repetitive... I wouldn't say its a bad game, just not as great as they promoed it. Too be honest this is the first time i get a game because of its promotion and not from research, which i now regret.

Well,I deleted Valor,I chose Raven.Then I deleted Raven,I chose S.V.E.R.I deleted S.V.E.R and chose Valor again.Valor has the best weapons and armor,but we lose almost every game...

There will be a new free DLC next week! New equipment and a light uniform for every faction! Sorry but I have no link since I only read the news in german and that wouldn't really help you. I finaly bought MAG two days ago and it's really fun! The first real war game I enjoy! Usually I think the multiplayers suck. I watched my cousin several times for many hours playing them and to me it's just stupid "Shoot anything that moves" without real strategy. The story of those games are boring to me anyway so I'm not interested in playing them and that's why MAG seems to be the perfect game to me! I like to be a sniper because of the big map and the many targets and no one can call you a camper since snipers are very useful for such realistic combat situations. The other reason is that I'm not very good with the MG so I rather kill the enemy from the distance. Btw I'm a level 12 Raven and I don't think that I will ever change to S.V.E.R. or Valor (maybe for the trophies but I'd rather not). I just don't like their uniforms and I hate to look stupid when I'm playing only. The other reason is that Raven is part german so that's the best team for me! ^.^ What I don't like is that some people are picking on us Ravens! >_< I don't care if the other factions have better armor or standard weapons! I just like my team and we don't suck as bad as some ppl are saying! >.> Too bad there are no female characters in MAG. That's a bit unfair but maybe they will change that in the future just like they did with MGO.
