Can anyone explain how/what the speed setting works? I would like to make like a button switch where once you hit it, a motor turns on and stays on or a dection sensor(cant remember real name) that will make a motor turn on and stay on once you activate it...can anyone explain these to me??

one of the most basic yet most useful peices of logic invented a permanent switch, place a 2x2 piece of dissolve ontop of a 2x2 piece of dark matter, place a mag key on the dissolve and a inverted mag switch on the DM, now hook your switch that you are using to turn on the motor to the dissolve and the mag switch to your bolt or your rockets or whatever you chose to use. If you haven't yet, you should play the beginners Logic Pack.

For example if a mag switch is hooked to a motor bolt. The speed of the motor bolt is dependent on how close the mag key of the same color is in that mag switch's sensor range. At the closest point, it will be fastest and (I'm pretty sure) the speed setting of the motor bolt. Further away in the area defined by the switch, the motor bolt will go slower. Out of the range, the motor bolt will stop. For your issue, a perm switch activated by the button with keep the motor bolt running. At least I think that is what you are asking.

I am going to get all three packs as soon as I am done with class, I was just interested if maybe it was a setting that I was missing or something? And what are the real advantages to the new packs...I know the Pirates one has water and scuba gear, do the other ones have any other tools?

MGS has paintonator and paintonator switch, the Creator Pack 1 has tons of useful stuff and its free, that's all i believe
