As of right now My intruder level is on hold because ,well, I ran out of ideas but I will continue it later on again. Instead I started work on a totally new project that has more focus on the platforming elements .anyways plz Try it out and tell me what you think. It's not finished yet either but I am working on additional content rite now...

A good fun level! I knew I had the platforms in the right places but I just could not use them! Perfect difficulty level! 4/5..hopefully the full level will get a 5/5 and mabie a heart!

The opening catapault misses me or kills me almost every time. What have you got the timing set on?

I really like the platforms where you use the grab switch to lower and raise them. I made all the way to the part where you bounce on the launchers that use piano sound effects over the top of the gas, and I can't get any further.

Just too hard. I'm afraid if you don't make it a bit easier you will get a bad rating due to frustrated players ( I died maybe thirty times on this level)

You do have some good original ideas.

The timing on my catapult is set on 0.1 right now. Actually, ive been thinking about that part and i think i will probably take it out completely so you probably wont have to worry about that anymore. In regards to the gas barrier part, its actually pretty easy if you do it a certain way but i guess i will look for a way to make it a little bit easier. Can you tell me which part you were having most trouble with? Thanks for playing and leaving feedback on my level also. I would be happy to return the favor if you need me too. 2010-03-15 04:52:00

Hidy Ho Spok! I just gave this level a play and I was able to finish it (Woo-Hoo!). I had a rough time at parts, but nothing that made the level unfinishable.

After playing the level, I would agree that it would probably be a good idea to get rid of the catapult. I found that part to be pretty irritating, and that is never a good way to start a level. BTW, for future reference, it is never a good idea to set a piston to the speed of 0.1, it will almost always result in the piston breaking (and also the death of sackboy if he gets anywhere near whatever the piston is moving!).

Once I was inside the cave, things went much more smoothly. At the part with the tilting platforms, I was a bit confused by what the magic mouth said. It was talking about grabbing and stuff moving around when I grabbed, but the only grabbable object was on the ceiling, and nothing moved when I grabbed it? Either way, this part was pretty challenging, but it was doable

I LOVED the part where you climb down the cliff by grabbing the hanging plank things! I thought that that was implemented VERY well, but I had to do that part way too many times because I kept dying from the rolling fireball. I understood that I needed to jump over the first fireball after I died from it the first time, but the second one just comes WAYYY to fast. I think that it would help if you emitted it a bit later.

As or the bouncing section after that, it was challenging, but I managed to do it on my 3rd or 4th try, so I never really got irritated by it I agree that it will probably be too hard for the common LBP player, but so will many other things in the level.

Lastly was the thing floating on the poisonous gas. I had no trouble with this part, and it was fun

I actually enjoyed the level, and even though there were really hard parts, nothing got me very upset. But that doesn't mean that the common LBP'er won't get upset!

Also, what is that jet powered thing at the finish ling?

I couldn't get past the last gas obstacle for some reason every time I hit the pad I would not make it over and if I launched my self with jump I would over shoot and go into the gas on top. Poo said he made it through so it might just be my lousy platforming skills.

That was a great section by the way, I loved the piano sound effects on the launchers.

I will for sure check this out when you get it finished.

If you want to give my new level Timber Canyon a run I'd appreciate it.

Hi, spok22! You did good level with smart mechanics and many great ideas. Some mechanisms can be tuned a little bit better for players comfort, but if you want to leave level with such big difficulty - it is your decision. I finished your level without any big troubles, several obstacles stop me for a minute, but everywhere I finally found right way to go further. I love your design and your mechanics, your create good obstacles and used nice materials combinations. So I gave your 4.5 stars (it is equal to 5 in game) and heart of creator for this level.2010-03-16 11:23:00

ok this is an interesting demo, i have liked many of your ideas, and I think that it are very originals and so playable, I had some problems with the catapult, , Maybe you can fix this part if you change the form of the square, and if you decrease the piston speed, but is your choice, in the cave I have liked the design. At the part with the tilting platforms, it’s a little complicated but not so hard, maybe if you could see how move all the platforms... Lastly was the thing floating on the poisonous, I had to do this part 3 or 4 times, because the impulse is different, but was fun. I loved the part of the boat, but the obstacles are so close, and this part is so fast, it’s quite impossible to do it, only if you die 3 or 4 times.

Ok I am waiting for the final version; I think this is a good level.

I had fun with the level but it definitely needs some tweaking. As other have said the catapult is broken. I can usually get around this by standing on the top corner, but most players are not going to do this. If you do decide to keep it I would suggest making the top one harder to hit and have the player fall to the bottom one if they miss.

Inside there was good platforming. I like that you had a very tight design, with some places for the player to explore on their own. The tilting platforms were no problem, but the txt was a little confusing like AFP said. The springboard gas part was more annoying than fun due to some odd behavior by the spring boards, especially the last two. Many times I would land on them when they were fully out. It was like playing a piano with broken keys. I think you may need to tweak you sensor switches or maybe go to a single springboard. The part after that was awkward as well. It was jarring to get killed over and over due to spawning in the gas hazard. Making this longer would help. I like the Land of the Lost tipping raft ending.


I look forward to your changes since you said this is a work in progress.
