Multistage boss time...

Hello there. I've just (kinda) finished a story level that i've been making, And i'm hoping to put a multistage boss at the end the only problem is... 1) i have no idea how to create a multistage boss. (i'm not bad with lbp logic, its just putting all that into a boss) 2) i have absolutely no idea what i want it to look like... 3) i only have about half the thermometer left ( i don't know if this is a problem) 4) whenever i have tried to create creatures they always look like turd. soo yeah... I would really appreciate any help offered and i'll answer any questions about my level. I would write about it here but i want to away as little as possible. Half a thermometer should be plenty for a multistage boss! you should even have some left over, methinks. Holguin86's got a good boss tutorial you should look at... https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=23511-LittleBigBosses&p=413313#post413313 He also has a boss logic tutorial in game that should get you started. What I do is make a stack of separate pieces of dissolve, each set to dissolve when one boss stage is done. Then put a mag switch on the top. as the boss enters different stages, the dissolve dissolves and the mag switch drops down and enters the field of a new mag sensor, which triggers new attacks, parts, etc. | 2010-03-13 17:36:00 Author: Duffluc Posts: 402 |

I believe SLS10 made a very good tutorial on bosses and gave you like 5 different types of boss logic. I'm actually planning on using a logic network that I *cough*stole*cough* borrowed from him in a level of mine. Just search SLS10 in-game. Wow, my first recommendation . A technique you might also want to use is the multiple brains technique, whereby killing a brain can have an effect on a boss's attack set. All you need to do is attach mag keys to unprotected brains and have an inverted on/off mag switch nearby. This mag switch will activate (perhaps attached to a PERM) when all keyed brains in its radius are destroyed.
