Okay ladies, are beards attractive on men? Properly maintained of course. Included in the category of beard are any facial hairstyle with hair on the chin.


What impression do you get of the man?

I always have between long stubble and full beard. Shaving destroys my face so I don't do if often. Its never affected my luck .

Well, it depends. I had a friend who had a full on beard and really long hair. His beard always scared me, though. It sorta looked like maybe he had birds living in it or something. My dad had a beard a few years ago to impress some stupid woman he was dating, and I sorta thought it made him look filthy. However... I think goatees and stubble are really nice. I think goatees make people look really cool.

Do you think some men look better with them?
Yes. It's all about the way your face is shaped, your facial features, etc. I know that sounds weird, but simply put, some people just look weird with beards, just like some people look weird with long hair, some people look weird with shaved heads, etc. And btw, Grant, you can pull off a beard nicely. ^_^

Absolutely. Looks have always been secondary for me. I like guys that are funny. I think a big factor in all of this is how shallow the girl is. Some girls are really shallow and go simply on looks. If you find a girl who hates beards and cares nothing for personality, you're out of luck. But then again, maybe that girl isn't the sort that you should be wasting your time on, anyway.

i wouldnt like to have a partner with a BUSH on his face because when i kiss him id get a hairy tounge LOL!
I dont mind men with stubble or a goatee but anything longer then 2 inches is a no no BUT it wouldnt stop me from liking them, i just prefer something lighter.

I grow a beard because my beard is absolutely relentless. Even after a very clean shave I look like Fred Flintsone (or for the modern era, Homer Simpson). I had a full beard (never long, always well manicured) up until a few years ago when I shaved it off. But I hated the no beard look (sheesh - look up 'doofus', I'm sure there'll be a pic of me from that time) so I went with the Van Dyke (for those who don't know - basically a goatee and mustache).
