sry if its been posted b4 i searched and coudlnt find anyting. this is i glitch i THINK i found 1.find a friend who has POTC pack. 2.ask them to play THE FIRST POTC level. 3. go into create mode and go to your tools bag. 4.go to global tools and there should be water hope i helped

no you didn't help because we here like to actually pay for what we use. Mm spend their time effort and sony's money so that they can keep this game running. the least people can do is buy the DLC.

But robotiod that was just a bit harsh... you have no right to tell people what they can and can't do, and this isn't a very bad thing to do. I did this with my friend who was going to get the pack soon so he could play about with it a bit before he buys it. What I'm trying to say is yes this gets you water for free but do you really want the bare minimum? No switches, none of the POTC materials and objects, I think most people will just buy it for themselves eventually...

I understand what you are saying but i stand by my opinion, If Mm wanted people to trial the water then they would of brought out a little demo or a limited time usage of the water in create mode, I understand that a lot of people dont want to buy level packs but Mm allow you to play all water levels and join someone in online create who is using water. Mm let us do things like that so we can get a taster and so we aren't forced into buying it. But getting water for free which is basically what happens here is wrong, I mean we already know the global water tool also doesn't have any dlc restriction on it, so the only thing you really need to pay for is the water switch, and that could be recreated using clever usage of mag keys anyways. Yes your missing out on the materials but thats not what people buy the POTC pack for, not really.

In the case of the water global settings, you can actually unlock this without paying for and downloading the PotC DLC file - all you have to do is play and complete the first PotC level via someone's hearted list, and you get the water for free. ...and no-one batted an eyelid, so I assumed this was common knowledge. Of course whether it's 'ethical' or not is another matter.

So what your saying is that you can get the water but nothing else. That's an unfortunate glitch. I can see alot of money being lost because of this, some people out there simply don't want to pay more money, I myself was seriously considering whether or not I should buy the MGS pack (I'm glad I did). In my honest opinion though I don't feel any urge to take it mainly because I don't really see water as more than a scenery tool and don't plan on buying it unless I could use water as an object like the paintball. Just my opinion.

Especially with comments like that. If you're sincere in what you say, then I suppose that's good, but saying it like that comes across as kind of haughty. "Look at me! I'm the better person 'cuz I'm forgiving mean and nasty Kernal!!" Not trying to be mean: that's just how it sounds. If that's not how you meant it, then sorry. In cases like this, you're probably more likely to patch any bad feelings by just not doing anything to keep them alive rather than talking about forgiveness. [jumps down off of high horse] I don't see the point in harassing people who use this trick to get water. (Hm... maybe I'm still on my horse?) It doesn't do much for them: they could acheive the same effect by having friends come into their level in oc and turn up the water (at least I think they could). And regardless of your opinion on their conduct, any ranting and railing is unlikely to elicit any kind of a positive response. I suppose, though, that trying to tell people on the internet to live and let live is like trying to tell ..... um... people to...um.... do something they don't ...know how to do? What a time to be at a loss for a metaphor.

i bought the potc pack for the music. i hardly even use water... too bad u cant get 2 copies of the same switch, cuz id want to go back and stealz another for the sake of stealingz another... that's actually how i first got water! I did that because i couldn't get any money on the psn (dont have any kind of card) but i managed to get a gift voucher to finally get it properly. Also, because i had that glitch, i can't change the level of the water precicely, i can only use the directional buttons to change it - not the analogue sticks =/
