Funny Misunderstandings

| Since there are so many states, countries, continents, cultures, languages, etc., I'm sure lots of people have experienced funny misunderstandings with their friends either on this site or in LBP. Here's one that took place a few weeks ago: I was in my UK friend's pod when he asked another of our friends, "How's the walnut business?" Our other friend who is from Texas just stood there perplexed then said, "If you're talking to me I'm not in the walnut business." My UK friend said, "I swore you told me you worked in walnuts." | Quite a few people have mistaken me for a girl, which I largely find amusing. ARD thought I was 14 / 15, quite recently, which was moderately baffling but then again, up until halfway (about 2 months!) through the logicpack project I thought ConfusedCartman was around 30! In real life, when the roll call is read out by a teacher for the first time, EVERY dang teacher assumes i'm a female because my last name can be easily mistaken for a girls first name (gillian). I won't say my real name/s for obvious reasons. And because the last name comes first on roll call, they gosh darn say it how it is written. Even though they don't do that for anyone else! It's happened all my life without fail, and I have to correct them every time. It's very annoying but I just laugh it off, with everyone else. The thing is that for quite a while, I happily said "Ich Liebe dich" to almost everyone, because in my mind that meant something like "Nice to meet you!" Turns out it meant I LOVE YOU. What is curious about this, is that nobody pointed out that it was weird that I went saying that so carelessly all around, and that I ended up with a friend list nearly filled up with german players.
