Why does Taffey's How NOT to create a level thread description say "Don't read this guide."! That's practically telling the person to avoid it's lectures of awesomeness!

(Yes I know it's sarcasm, but I forgot about the thread's sarcasm for a second and actually thought it told me to avoid it. I feel if this was a new member reading the description, they might take it seriously! All I'm asking is you at least put a side-note saying "sarcastic" or something.)

Is that better CS? Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot how much skill is needed to understand sarcasm.

Hey valmassoi,

That tutorial looks great! However, if you follow the links in the opening post, you'll find that the tutorials themselves are contained on their respective threads, not the Community Moon. Ali also had an awesome Environment Tutorial (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=25693-Environment-Tutorial) level that he needed to post as a thread before being added to the list, so if you want your tutorial posted, please write a detailed and easy to follow step by step guide. Sorry for this extra step, but it's just more convenient for readers to follow. Thanks for understanding!

I'd be happy to help out with screen shots as well. I played the tutorial the other day (it really is excellent!) so I already have it on my PSP - just tell me what pictures you need and I'll take care of it for you.

make sure to save room for psp logic pack once we are finished and release it!

Also, what about those great tutorials ace creator made? Shouldn't those be listed as well? Just a thought.

Hey all,

I reckon that somebody should make a thread on how to replicate TomBurk's Third layer. That would be really useful - unless you are trying to avoid the glitches...

i think coxy did do the tomburk layer tutorial

Coxy did do a fantastically detailed tutorial on the tomburk third layer glitch, but I'm not sure we promote glitches for several reasons. These glitches, while cool, may be fixed in subsequent updates-- like the upside-down scoreboard activation--rendering some levels to not function properly. Even though this glitch was restored, we can't be sure it will be the same for all glitches.

You might be asking, well, the PS3 has a fifty layer glitch that has been welcomed by the community, why can't PSP be the same? The PS3 layer glitch has been acknowledged by Mm and I believe, to the best of my knowledge, that Mm explicitly stated to not remove the glitch. We do not have this acknowledgement from Cambridge. In addition, the PSP level editor is relatively unstable compared to its PS3 counterpart, and applying glitches may further destabilize the editor.

However, if enough people request this tutorial, then I would be happy to add it to the list with a permission from the site administrator and remove it should an update fix this glitch. So if you like this glitch to be listed, let me know!

Hey V, while I did enjoy reading it, I don't believe it's a tutorial. A tutorial has a step by step process that helps the creator achieve something, but I feel your post was more of an informative piece (FYI kind of thing) than a guide. Thanks for sharing though, I'm sure it helped others. Let me know if you have any other tutorials to share in the future.

make sure to save room for psp logic pack once we are finished and release it!

There's plenty of room. Don't worry about it.

Also, what about those great tutorials ace creator made? Shouldn't those be listed as well? Just a thought.Valmassoi is right. The tutorials listed here are detailed on the thread themselves, and not contained in levels necessarily. Some have started with a PSP level tutorial and then put it on a thread like what ali985 and valmassoi did, and then they were added to the spotlight. Please be sure to make text versions of your PSP logic pack like the PS3 version (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=18649-LBPCentral-Logic-Pack%21#post330956) if you want to be included in the list.

Sorry about these spicifics, but the site administrator made a special request to meet these inclusion criteria. Thanks for understanding!
