The Land of Arkadia
A joint project by PSN members: fatal_exodus10(me), PetStars(PetStars), and MM609

This was started as a small project after being inspired by several great RPG's out there. Now, we're on our way to creating the fifth level in our LBP series, a series we will soon be releasing. Here are some pictures of our progress, and any ideas or CC will be appreciated once I reveal much more info. :3

This looks pretty epic dude, it sounds familiar to the my Heroes Vs. Villians level series where you make choices throughout the level, which then effects what happens in the future. But back to your level you use of the 3d layer glitch looks very good indeed, i can't wait to play this when it comes out.2010-03-10 09:05:00

Well, this looks neat. I've always wanted an LBP RPG... and while I don't thinktink this will reach Ama toor's standards (this crazy guy has been working on a 19 long rpg series for well over a year... yah, he's insane. By HIMSELF O_o)

Anyway... I must ask what is "RPGy" about this, because your first post didn't give much info. Do you collect stickers and use them Zelda sytle? Is there a turn based battle system? Skills? Story?

Having a bit more info would be very helpful.

The temporary story: There were 6 orbs scattered around the world, thunder, wind, earth, water, fire, and dark (not necessarily in that order) Each orb was filled with a tremendous power... and if they were separated, the orbs would shake and get scattered around the earth until the sack of light finds them. One day an unenjoying-life thing stole the dark orb for power and to take over the world. The dark orb was confused and spread its darkness all over the world. These are when the dark times started to begin. Evil spread too. There was a bird tribe in the sky that did not get affected at all that gives the light of wisdom to the chosen one [the sack of light]... and that chosen one is you. You will have to leave your family and friends behind but I know you are doing the right thing... You will meet new friends and evil people on your journey. When it ends... well that is your choice... [STORY END]

That is our temporary story for now. The battle system uses limited jetpack movement and swords to attack monsters (like stabbing a monster to kill them) You get 50 points for every kill and 500-1000 points for each boss killed. (There will be classified weapons for example: Mage, Pegasus Knight, Pirate and they will all be in a certain level [1-5] and boss weapons will be level X) There will be sacks that will join your side and sacks and monsters you will have to fight. Divine light is also a bonus that will help you out in battle. (Powers your weapons up) BTW: you have to kill every part of the boss to defeat it.

I will carry the main RPG story line and a character tree, fatal_exodus10(oh so random.) will carry minigames, and MM609 will carry bios.

Well, since the levels cannot exchange data outside of stickers with eachother, how are you keeping exp with other levels? Is it you level up in each level for that one playthrough, or what?2010-03-11 01:45:00

But I'm planning to keep each level locked with a key starting from the Prologue to Part 1 to Part 2 and so on....

Features will include:
An original battle system (especially for the bosses )
A great point system
Maybe stickers
Leveled weapons
Minigames
Biographies
Allies and Enemies
...and more.

I will guarantee that there is no way we can beat the Ama Toor project because the Ama Toor project is... amazing o.O very amazing
