I believe that media Molecule should allow the 3d layer glitch to be a tool in the popit menu instead of it having to be a glitch. This awesome glitch allows creators to make magnificent levels by adding there own background. It is very difficult and frustrating to make just one object in the background, like a tree. Instead of going through this frustration, MM, should include an update, or maybe even a DLC that allows players to make backgrounds such as the 3d glitch levels made by other creators. This adds much more excitement to the level and adds much more theme to your level. I wanted to make an army level where your in the forest inside a tank and there are evergreen trees all around you with some fallen logs in the background and things that a forest would normally have. But not only in 3 layers, but all around you. If i could and knew how, I would send an e-mail to MM explaining this, but I am just one person and they will probably will not respond. Anyone else agree?

i agree with ur idea but the easier take for MM would to create more backgrounds which is what i think they should do. and more music

This is an amazing idea that has certainly never been mentioned before.... Doopz not meaning to stomp on you on anything but we have been having this discussion since, the 3d glitch was first officially used in levels. The only reason MM dosen't release it as a tool is because they have no idea how it occured. And if they where going to rewrite this as an actual tool, they would have to change all the physics of the game to interact with the 3d layers. That been said there are rumors of MM possibly turning LBP to 3d surportive where if you TV has 3d abilities put into it you will be able to see more of the layers clearly. But ye this idea had been going on for ages, there are some people who don't won't this to happen, because they think it will make it like a normal game, and others who think it will make the game more interesting. I think it is best to leave it as it is and let creators who know how to use it well put it in their levels to add something special to it. -lbpholic

Lol i left a comment on that video yesterday! Thats what gave me the idea to post that on here. I am extremely curious on how this glitch occurred. Lol think about it haha. Oh and just a random question how do you get notifications that people posted reply on a thread i made?
