Impressive Levels to Show to Friends Please!

Archive: 18 posts

So, I have a couple of friends coming round this week and we are going to play some LBP

What do you think are good, impressive levels that will make them say "Wow, this is amazing" without it being too difficult or challenging for beginners, thanks!

Providing you've got multiple controllers, I'd say Industrial Assisstance 1 and 2 by jackofcourse, they're a blast with friends.2010-03-09 19:29:00

Anything by BOIA. My favourite creator so far.

Recommended levels of his to start with are:

For a nice fun level with humour and great characters : Isacco
Some with great puzzles are : Bozzle Quest and Egitto
Great bosses in a castlevania setting : Castle Sack

Bear in mind he is Italian so a lot of the text will be lost on you if you don't speak the language but don't let that put you off. It's never stopped me finishing or enjoying the levels.

GUN&RAN by ciao-psn (i think)
JakePutz's levels are fun in multi

For some real entertainment however, let them loose on the 'OH!! NO!!' series and go make a cup of tea.

I normally go to a few of wexfordian's / jackofcourse's levels first if I have friend's round, who haven't played before. The story levels are also great don't remember, they have great flow and are just very good fun. They also work well in multiplayer

I left one of my friends with desert world while I cooked dinner. Fair play to her, she did actually complete it lol.

Ooh jj that's nasty. He did say they were 'friends' you know. I certainly wouldn't inflict that OH NO series on my friends unless I knew for a fact they were masochists.

Anything by Jump_button...in particular his sky-town "balloon" levels ought to be fun multi-player although I've only played them solo...2010-03-09 21:40:00

In addition to the levels already mentioned, I think Nuclearfish's Sacky Potter level is a great one to show friends new to LBP.2010-03-09 23:48:00

The Somnium is pretty out there in terms of creativeness May be harder to appreciate if you haven't played a lot of the more standard LBP gameplay though2010-03-10 23:46:00
