My Ambient Musical Experiments
Archive: 7 posts
I tried out making some ambient and spacey music recently. I'm still learning new things when it comes to arrangement of tracks and that, and I can see by the repetitive nature and similar arrangements I still have a ways to go. Some feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated Here are the songs I chose to upload: Accretion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vxdg7KINbY Dispersion [Demo]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG-pXDfkgN8&feature=channel Fluorescence [Experiment]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bY8nPAQwcA&feature=channel Siphon [Full Version]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbHGl5w3su0&feature=channel Niflheim [Full Version]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4dvHcRYLRA&feature=channel Unknown Track Recreation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owj2lRUGPnc&feature=channel Thanks for watching | 2010-03-08 22:49:00 Author: Voodeedoo Posts: 724 |
Hi! Lbpholic has recently started a game studio (We make games and st00f), and I think these songs are awesome. Try asking lbpholic if you can join the studio. You would be great for making the music | 2010-03-12 19:16:00 Author: Testudini Posts: 3262 |
Not normally my field of expertise, but I just wanted to add that I liked Niflheim the best. I am a keen follower of trance and euphoria, so this is almost my bag, but after going through all of them they have a similar trend... Strong opening.... about 1/3 way through, more strong opening with an added effect..... finished with faded strong opening..... I just felt as though I wanted some really heavy base to kick in with a structured main section. Left me wanting... Rhy Disclaimer: I have no real musical knowledge and could not even pass grade 1 on piano so have no grounds for any of the above comments or even any justification for making them. | 2010-03-13 12:19:00 Author: Rhyfelwr Posts: 606 |
