Ghost Survival Challenge! (STRICTLY 1 PLAYER)Mopthefloo
http://i48.tinypic.com/29qmre1.jpgTravel through mazes and reach the green square at the end of each maze, sound easy enough? well make sure you watch out for the ghosts!
Worked along time on this 1! i tried my best to create an original concept, and this is how it turned out! please give it a try, but make sure you are by yourself. it WILL NOT WORK WITH 2 OR MORE PEOPLE!

be sure to also go through the in-game tutorial (it's short) so you know exactly what you're doing.

Hey Mopthefloo, I gave your level a go (well a couple of goes actually!) and here's what I thought:

- In my opinion it is not only a good idea but also an original one (at least I haven't seen it before, although I haven't been around all that long) and for that I love it.
- The idea of a training room is excellent to teach your players the ropes. This shows you are really thinking about the experience your player has.
- Personally I really liked the way that Sackboy moves around in the barrelly thing. I know this has been done in sections of levels before, but it was nice to see it implemented as the gameplay basis for a level.

A few things which I think would really help:
- You have increased the difficulty as you go along, which is great practice. However, the learning curve is steeeeeeeep from the 2nd round to the 3rd.
- Following on from this, because I couldn't see any of the maze before I started rolling, it felt kind of like pot luck whether or not I ran into a ghost. I wonder if you could show a camera view of the maze and the positions of the ghosts before Sackboy starts moving? That way the skill would be in planning your route to avoid, rather than just luck whether you run into them.

Hope this helps!

I played this last night and thought it was a really cute idea. I will have to give it another try though since you've updated.

Offhand unless you addressed it, I found myself wishing for a bit wider camera angle if possible so I could know how to plan and play a bit better. I see you added maps which might help a bit.

I also think it would be cool to have a some extra stickers or decorations around to liven up the room a bit. Possibly even some comical thin layer or single layer characters and objects to give it a bit more of an arcade game feel.

Nice work!

thanks. having little guys on a thin layer wouldnt work because that's where my ghosts are. and i dont want them crashin lol. as for wider camera, that could be done, but i'm not sure because i don't want the camera to show you the other maps as well.
