Sounds from your points its an improvement on part one, which was amazing in itself. I can't wait to play. | 2010-03-06 18:58:00 Author: KQuinn94Z Posts: 1758 |
Looks fantastic. Ill try to remember to play this when I get home. The first was amazing and im really looking forward to this one. | 2010-03-06 19:17:00 Author: SteveBigGuns Posts: 423 |
i kept playing this over and over again. it was that good, i cant wait to for pt 3 | 2010-03-06 20:46:00 Author: The_Lil_JoKeR Posts: 745 |
part three youll have to wait along time FF13 next week so and my next level in the works its not part three. how the torch over the old one? I know it still a little stickie | 2010-03-06 21:06:00 Author: jump_button Posts: 1014 |
new torch way better i really like the design of it. and whats your next lvl about? | 2010-03-06 21:32:00 Author: The_Lil_JoKeR Posts: 745 |
WOW. the puzzles are some of the best I've seen. Improve: You know that box puzzle at the start where you have to stack 2 boxes to get to the switch? The glass slope which helps you manouver the box sorta detracts from the scenery a bit. I think you could make the boxes easier to maneuver by changing the wooden "frame" around the box to sandpaper(to keep the texture) and stickering it with a picture of the wood so it's lighter and easier to move without the glass but doesn't look any different. Dunno though Great job on the bosses btw. Really unique. | 2010-03-06 21:48:00 Author: Unknown User |
fix some little stuff added a wall on the first Colossus to stop players taking the easy way, and the glass you cant see it as much I did forget about that part. and its good to hear you guys like this series hope you enjoyed this one and cant wait for next. but im not going to rush it out, so it maybe a long wait. and i want to try somthing new more of a art level for my next like B&W level | 2010-03-07 07:41:00 Author: jump_button Posts: 1014 |
hmmmm a art style lvl.....sounds promising but what really made this lvl stood out from prt1 was the lighting effect you done, like....what foggy look in the 3rd layer and a darker look in the 2nd and 1st layers. btw how you make that? | 2010-03-07 07:53:00 Author: The_Lil_JoKeR Posts: 745 |
seriously love this level. the effects, lighting, puzzles, everything. the puzzles were challenging and pretty ingenious. the torch is a fantastic concept and really works in the level. both bosses were brilliant and the design was super. my only bad thing i have to say is a bug. you've probably got this loads but the torch on the second boss would break when it spawned and then it spawn one again. i have no idea why. it didn't really matter but i thought i'd say. but anyway, an amazing part 2 that's better than the first. well done! | 2010-03-07 16:49:00 Author: trip090 Posts: 1562 |
Very hard puzzles but it did feel good when succeeding. Great visuals, great everything. 5 stars and heart. The only thing thing that wasn't great on this level was your spelling and grammar. | 2010-03-07 17:18:00 Author: KQuinn94Z Posts: 1758 |
This Looks epic dude well done i am soo playing this tommorow well done. | 2010-03-07 20:14:00 Author: lbpholic Posts: 1304 |
fixed some of the spelling lol I dont know how I missed them <_< bloody PS3 pad my only bad thing i have to say is a bug. you've probably got this loads but the torch on the second boss would break when it spawned and then it spawn one again. i have no idea why. it didn't really matter but i thought i'd say. Well that only why i could think of how to respawn it :/ if you just tap the R1 button it will not do that but i think most hold on but it only a little thing and you still get a new one. I all way take the easy ways Iam happy you guys like the puzzles, I was worried that they be to easy didt want to give any tips but some are still finding it hard ^^; | 2010-03-08 10:42:00 Author: jump_button Posts: 1014 |
I played this last night. This level is brilliant and deserves :star::star::star::star::star:. The puzzles were more ingenious than the previous level (the torch/water concept was awesome) and the two bosses were great. That reminds me, I still have to play ICO I got for Christmas. | 2010-03-08 18:41:00 Author: Beed28 Posts: 200 |
Really great level jump, there's some really good and clever stuff here I've never seen before. The puzzles were the perfect difficulty, and that a really hard thing to judge. Visually, well you always do a fantastic job, and its no different here, and by the time you get into second half of the level the atmosphere really starts to grab you. I'd love to see you evolve the theme for more levels, they are a pleasure to play. | 2010-03-09 01:03:00 Author: julesyjules Posts: 1156 |
Love the art style. Your levels always shine artistically, and this one is no exception. I only got as far as the first colossus, but dang he looked cool. On to the quibbles. Right at the beginning, if you go left, you can see the edge of the floor drop off into nothing. Looks kind of ugly. Since there's nothing to do over there, you might just want to block the player from going left at all. All levels should be multiplayer compatible... but that's just my opinion. I still don't like the torch. I mean, I like the idea and the puzzles were pretty cool, but it's a freakin' pain moving around with it. Also, it seems weird that you can super jump when you're holding it, but I guess that's better than not being able to jump. I must be stupid, because it seems like nobody has complained about the first colossus, but I got completely stuck at that part. I have no idea how to fight him or what the torch is supposed to do to him. I just kept running at him with the torch and getting stepped on (because I couldn't run away fast enough while holding the torch). After a while, he backed off a little way and never came all the way forward again, but I didn't know why, and I still couldn't figure out what to do. It was nice to be given a hint about avoiding the attack, but that was easy to figure out: what I needed was a hint of what I should be doing. All in all, I liked it well enough, but I didn't love it. The difficult torch mechanics as well as generally having no idea what I was expected to do, especially in the boss fight, really killed the enjoyment for me. | 2010-03-09 03:37:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
I loved the new level ? the visuals were great, the same decayed grandeur as in the first in the series but with some even more impressive interiors this time. Just beautiful even with all the gameplay to absorb you, you can?t help spotting some really lovely touches like those wonderful cave painting type murals showing Sackboy. The lighting was excellent too. I loved the puzzles. They were clever and nicely varied. The torch worked well and was great fun to use. My favourite puzzle was definitely the water one - ingenious stuff. The design of the second Colossus was superb. He had such awesome presence ? truly gripping to fight. I have to confess that I needed the hint to work out what I was meant to do to fight him but armed with that I had no real problems. Great way to end the level. I can?t wait to see how you?re going to carry on with the story (eventually, lol!). | 2010-03-09 23:06:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |
All levels should be multiplayer compatible... but that's just my opinion well it still can be played but some part with the touch would be harder Im only really saying it better if you play on your own wonderful cave painting type murals showing Sackboy Did't think anyone noticed them Good to hear that you enjoyed this one and the first hopeyou enjoy the next and last one when i get around too it. going take a rest, I have some ideas for three levels and the next part ill not be doinf for a long time. Take a rest to play FF13 And good to hear you enjoyed the puzzles i know on LBP alot of puzzles are just pull A to open B and i wanted to keep away from that. Puzzles are alot harder to work out how they will be worked out XD fingers cross the next one i work out how to do a sword, And some more colossus i have one in mind. | 2010-03-10 12:55:00 Author: jump_button Posts: 1014 |

I still haven't played this masterpiece yet but I'll get right onto it tomorrow. What will your other project be that you mentioned before? | 2010-03-12 11:06:00 Author: Arctos13 Posts: 258 |
I joined Morgana when she was playing this and it was a really great level. A question, though... that cat like character (in your sketch) looks very much like a Putty from Phantom Brave: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v339/KingLaharl/ch_8103_1.gif Is that what you were going for? That's not a criticism or anything, btw. I think It's completely adorable!^_^ Great level! | 2010-03-12 17:26:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

Ok I've played it now and it certainly lived up the prequel. New torch, water puzzle gameplay. Those two colossi were very detailed. I liked the way the rubble that the first one made was triangular. Will the final part be primarily a boss fight with a sword against the h4h demon or will it mainly be a puzzle level with a smaller boss fight at the end? Those pictures of your upcoming levels look great, something a bit different. | 2010-03-13 05:29:00 Author: Arctos13 Posts: 258 |
I still have not played this one >.< I loved the first so I need to play this one soon. | 2010-03-15 08:52:00 Author: Xeno_Destroyer Posts: 72 |
I don't know how to beat the mirror puzzle. Can anyone explain that to me? | 2010-03-16 03:26:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Your level is tight! The level design is great and the puzzles are awe inspiring. The boss battle is great and looks extremely cool too [reminds of one of the bosses of the PSP game "Patapon" ]. Speaking of the boss battle, that stupid boss squished the torch and I have to restart the entire level. Still I had a lot of fun in this level. Can't wait for the 3rd installment. :star::star::star::star::star: | 2010-03-16 05:23:00 Author: JustinArt Posts: 1314 |
