New switches, old things

I was thinking concept of dieing when race timer ends and I realized that you cannot make it.
It works well If you don't have Score Bubbles but when you have it becomes impossible.
So why not turn the Start and End gate to switches?

while I was thinking this I found various other things that also could be turned to switches:
-all Checkpoints
-Score/Prize Bubbles
-Close-level Post
-all Enhancements
-Bombs
-Plasma Ball
-Keys
-Start and End gate
-Magic Mouth (thanks to rtm223)

And if those will be done then should attaching switches to these be allowed:
-Creature Eye/Leg/Wheel/Navigator
-Prize/Score Bubbles
-all Enhancements

There could be also demitter not just emitter.

If you have switch related ideas please post them.

What I don't understand from your post is why score bubbles would make a difference to your "death" logic

I think you can set up an and gate with a piston that takes as long to retract as your race timer, and the key attached to a piece of dissolve. Set a one shot proximity switch at the outside edge of the end race gate to destroy the desolve. If you get to the gate before the timer runs out the key dissolves so your death doesn't get triggered. Score bubbles wouldn't make a difference. If you had a multiperson race, it would certainly effect things however. If you only wanted one winner you could have 2 proximity switches, one to disarm the death sequence for the winner, and the other to trigger everyone else's death.
