Wy doesnt anyone share any of their objects that they made in their levels. Ive seen some pretty cool objects out there that would fit perfectly in my level. Soo wats up with that? Are you guys afraid someone will take your object and claim it as their own or something?2010-03-04 23:52:00

Yes. When that happens, it's more like "Stealing is Theiving", not "Sharing is Caring". So asking people "Why don't you share" like you did now won't make me share any more now that you put it like that. If you really like an object, then ask the Creator themself if they want to give it to you.

Well, your a member of this site, right? So just ask the Creator for the object by going to their profile on this site. You can search for them in the site's searchbar.2010-03-05 00:08:00

I would share stuff if I thought people would want or use it. The trouble is, whenever I encounter prize bubbles in other people's levels, I generally try to avoid them because they just clutter up my inventory. That's not to say that other people's objects are worthless, very often they're really good, but generally I'd find it very hard to find a use for most stuff.

If I thought people would want my objects I'd probably happily share them.

I think I'm the only one on this site who adds prize bubbles to the levels.
I try to make the prize bubbles optional, but some people still accidently get them.

Mainly all Creators add one prize to their level. After all, the less prizes there are, the more special it is. 2010-03-05 03:19:00

I have two prizes in "Trapped Transitions" but i think they are a gimmick and not really useful... but they are fully avoidable!2010-03-05 08:43:00

I generally (not always) give away trinkets from my levels. Either enemies, backgrounds pieces, vehicles or something small like that. Big things like bosses or complex contraptions rarely get added in as prizes unless it's some kind of tech demo level. Also, with the capture limitations being what they are, some things actually can't be captured to be given away (such as the big LBPC logo).

Check out Aquabyss if you want some fishies and giant enemy crabs.

The solution to prize pollution is to make all your items copyable, so then you can take them out of Community Items and put them into the much-less crowded My Items.

And as to putting items into levels, it just doesn't work with all of them. I put lots of items into Character Tutorial, but with Volcanic Panic, there will only be about four, unrelated to the level items. (Awesome hint: one is a R.eally O.riginal B.addy If you got that, you are either old or have too much time on your hands.) That's because my level isn't really suited to providing cool things that would work.

If only LBP PSP had that nifty option where you can turn off "Obtain Prizes". You know, the one the LBP PS3 has. 2010-03-05 22:56:00
