Brand New Level Idea Invovling the 2 Player Create Mode.

Archive: 8 posts

Okay, this idea is very delicate. usually you should be doing this with friends so that they don't cheat. Okay, remember my Popit Tool Power Up idea? Imagine a level where you played it in create mode with friends. Imagine a level with several buildings and varying landscapes. You download this level onto your moon. Then one person has to survive in a house while not hovering or using the popit or tool or goodies bag at all. this person grabs points that are being emitted from some where . the other person trys to kill this other person as quickly as possible while being able to hover. This person then creates traps and monsters to kill the other player with. the exceptions being gas and impact bombs and plasma balls. those are a no-no. plus, you cant create huge objects to crush the other player or block him. you are allowed to raise and lower the water but you cant change the darkness or fog setting. so, to go over the rules
Defense Sackboy: Stay alive and grab points.
1. you are allowed to run grab things
2. you cant accses your popit at all. if you do, its considered cheating
Attacking Sackboy: Kill the other sackboy as soon as possible
1.You cant make objects bigger then they are supposed to be- play fair
2.You cant use impact bombs, gas, plasma balls
3.You cant change the lighting
4. If you raise the water, be fair and give the other player a chance to get a oxygen mask.
5.All traps and monsters must have a weakness
MOST IMPORTANTLY: NO pausing or rewinding.
I have another idea for 2 sackboys fighting each other with premade objects that i have created and using those only while using these objects to attack and destroy the other sackboys base. The whole thing is complex and its a work in progress but it could turn out to be very interesting. Give me feedback and ideas please. I try to please the community.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to grab point bubbles in Create Mode though.2010-03-03 15:24:00

That made me lol, sorry orange-dragon . You spent all that time coming up with the plan without even realising you couldnt't collect points in create mode.

Let me suggest that you make it into a proper level, where one person stands in the room while the other stands in a control room where all the hazards and stuff for the first player can be activated. This should allow you to accomplish your main plan much more easily and without any complicated rules to follow.

Well, to be fair there might be a way to bypass point bubbles in favor of some dissolve balls with a proximity switch, which would tally up points somewhere off-screen.2010-03-03 18:24:00

Yes but there's still the complicated rules to follow ... whilst being a good concept it might not work as well as dragon hoped, especially as OC is more laggy than normal play mode. Depends on the setup, though 2010-03-03 18:33:00

Okay, i know this sounds complicated, and i will find a way to tally how long you have been alive for, so i am first before publishing my level, im going to create a instruction level first. For those complaining that you scores wont be posted, will then this is for bragging rights over friends. Overall, most levels are created so that others can have fun in them. My idea is young and new and freash so many people wont be ready for it. That is tho how most big successful creators begin.2010-03-03 23:26:00

I've created a level like this for the LBW2 competition, awaiting Chimpanzee to upload to youtube!2010-03-04 15:35:00

It's a good concept, and using my idea wouldn't be nearly as original. But due to the nature of the concept, you might not be properly recognised as the starter of the trend ... many people may copy the level and republish it under their name. It's still a smokin' idea, though, I'd be interested to hear how it turns out.2010-03-05 00:18:00
