Geosautus' masterpiece level re-created with new music, scenery and added effects.
Remember geosautus' masterpiece level Tale of the Magnificent Ruby? I have re-created his level down the the very last detail. In addition, i have changed the music, also added some different effects so it wont feel like you're playing the exact same level over again.

Play geosautus' level Tale of the Magnificent Ruby as well, you be the judge. =)

I just finished this one a few minutes ago...and I'm impressed! I remember playing the original a while ago, and this "remastering" just made a great level even better!2010-03-05 03:24:00

I tried playing this last night and I think I managed to break it very early on. The sponge that drops down I grabbed it and went up and to the right with it and it fell behind the front layer and I couldn't grab it again. Just wanted to give you a heads up on it.2010-03-05 18:57:00

Isn't this just stealing? The only difference is that you worked hard to build it, rather than steal it outright. I'm not sure I support this. I wonder how Geo feels someone copied him... I'll check it out.. but.. I'm confused.2010-03-05 19:12:00

Not played it, but wouldn't it be better to make your own ideas, instead of copying someone elses level down to the last detail?2010-03-05 21:46:00

No. I've made it better then the original. (to my likings at least.)

I've made plenty of my own levels already. And if you haven't even played it, why are you posting here? Thanks for the bump though.

Ok so if i took say Morgana25's Chromastone levels and "Remastered" them, essentially changing the music changed the lighting slightly and put in some fart noises, would that be stealing? I Find it better, the whole community finds the fart noises hilarious, So that makes it ok to steal? Because you yourself likes it?

Rubbish

It's not stealing when I have permission. Geosautus is one of my friends o.O

I have altered the level. Pray I do not alter it any further.

So if i asked Morgana if i could capture the parts that i created (IE the tunnel section) then captured the whole level, because Morgy is my friend i can?

Ummmm, as far as we know that's not even close to being the same thing.... If stephanie has permission to make a copy, then she has permission. You're taking about asking permission for one thing and doing another. If stephanie has permission then it's certainly not stealing. Consider it like a "cover version" of a song, if you will, a perfectly acceptable artistic venture. How's about you let geoautus decide if this is acceptable or not, seeing as it has absolutely nothing to do with you. Message geosautus to inform him if you're that bothered.

For the record I've not played this level or the original. Sorry for posting here.

Is this completely built from scratch or did you capture/copy it from geo.2010-03-06 19:12:00

I created everything, the items in prize bubbles are from geosautus however. And yes it did take quite an amount of time putting everything together.

...? What are you even talking about anymore lol

If she gave you permission to copy her level, whatever. But please... just stop trying.

Hey Steph

So I played the level. It was really good! I've never played the origianl, and frankly it doesn't matter. I see all these people hating on you for doing this, but the copyable feature would not be available if it was so frowned upon. Especially if you got the original creaotrs blessing. Anyhoo, the only little snag I saw was you can see the dissolve and darkmatter in the very begining when you grab the sponge that drops down. Great job

Thanks, I tried your levels and i found a little bug in your lifespan 2 level, I managed to reach the ground floor by swinging from the bottom of one the clouds. That series is really nice, especially the first one =P, do you already have them showcased? If so, sorry for posting about it here xD

Like I've stated before, I'd be very proud if someone wanted to remake one of my levels but you still get zero stars...where's your creativity?2010-03-10 19:19:00

It seems you are very misunderstood on LBP, Stephanie. I myself did not realise that you were not in fact stealing, but recreating levels to the last detail. With permission I would hope!2010-06-12 22:55:00

Wow man, big bump.
While I'm here I may as well let y'all know that StephanieRavens does not remaster and/or recreate any of the levels she publishes. e.g. "The Bunker", which she republished as "The Fort" and claimed as her own.
The only level she has created, as far as I know, is the Collector's Return, as AB-Wesker clarified that she was Stephanie.

Hey, wait a sec, if AB-Wesker admitted she was Stephanie, then that must mean Jill-Wesker, the person who constantly gives her thumbs up is infact Stephanie! (They're both called Wesker)
Very bad, you are only allowed to have one account Stephanie, and it's even worse using the account to give you rep you don't deserve.

EDIT: Then again, Jill-Wesker may just be a crazy fan-girl, haha. Sorry for the accusation Steph. Should've waited until I had more evidence

This is almost exactly the same as the original, the only difference is you made it darker, added a bit of blood around the spikes and put in new music, the origional was actually better...

That's what stephanie does
