10 stage boss

im working on a 10 stage boss atm this is what happends
stage 1 plasmas
stage 2 ground spins and plasmaS
stage 3 lazers
stage 4 explosives
stage 5 double plasmas from stage 1 and lazers
stage 6 enamies
stage 7 ground turns to fog have to get to higher ground
stage 8 higher ground starts moving up and down
stage 9 ground returns to normal
stage 10 boss blows up

You, my friend, need to talk to Lous_Desruc. He has a... I wanna say at least 5 stage boss battle in the next Sack the Legendary. The same logic (minus the fighting part) is used in his and TheAdipose's level Arena of the Gladiators on the main character.2010-03-03 14:08:00

To be honest, the N-Stage boss is a little overdone. I'd rather see a 3-stage, or even 1 stage, boss, with a unique attack / damage system, than a 10 stage boss of plasma and frikkin layzors.

How are we attacking this boss? I'm assuming paint gun?

I'm alright at making multistage bosses, but like rtm said, sometimes bosses with unique attack sets are more rewarding to play. Your 10 stages sound like they are fairly unique though, except the plasma things. I have constructed a switch that lets you activate stages with minimal thermo consumption, and can help you set up the attack sequences if you want. Just give me a shout or PM me.2010-03-03 18:24:00
