Archive: 9 posts

The title is my reaction when I realised that absolutely everything I had ever bought on LBP had been delllllleeeeeettteeeeeeeeddd! I can't build my levels, I can't make costumes, I can't collect items, I can't even sign in to PSN to play other levels! I backed my data up beforehand but it's just done the same thing!

Why? Why has this happened to me?!? Have I got a virus? Is it just a one-off bug? Please, somebody, anybody, HEEEELLLP MEEEEE!!!

And now I've discovered that I can't go into create mode ! Oh my god, LBP is my favourite game, and now it's completely ruined

It's not just you, It's a million people. Look around you, I'm sure you find one or two websites reporting a global PS3 mass suicide.2010-03-01 21:01:00

Same things happened to me, dude, and by the sounds of it a ton of other people too. The only reason you can't use DLC is because it requires PSN authentication. And as there is no PSN ... no authentication, therefore you're not allowed to edit levels containing DLC or use it from your popit. Once PSN is up and running everything should be back to normal ... *touch wood*2010-03-01 21:05:00

Sony indicate that your DLC will be fine. The problem is related to the PS3 system clock and a side effect of this is you're being temporarily locked out of DLC.

PSN is up and running fine. It's a hardware issue on older PS3s. You are advised to leave your system OFF until the fix is ready, or you risk data corruption (trophy info, etc).

You can get more info in the main thread here:

My PS3 is an old fat80G, but i didn't have the problem.
Since the european servers got updated a week ago it may be the same problem.
Maybe the servers got hacked or someone found a leak in DLC...

An error has occurred. This thread is covering a topic already being discussed in another thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=23316-Error-8001050F-LBP-will-NOT-work&p=404201#post404206).

It will now be locked.
