Got me a game guide.

Brill game, Brill guide!
I know you can get these online, but it’s not the same as an official guide by Brady games( notoriously good at writing guides for just about every good game), complete with detailed explanations and diagrams of levels and locations of certain items. it opens with a encouraging foreword by LBP co-lead designer David smith and continues with two separate contents pages, one for ps3 and one for psp. you are then run through the controls in a detailed page of Pics and an explanation of the environments you will see in-game. once you reach the first level guide, for The Gardens, there is a long and explanatory page all about the level and what you will face. This is the same for all the other levels, with a tick list of all items, stickers and costumes for the levels to help keep track of those elusive prize bubbles. Very handy indeed! Every paragraph of walkthrough-ish goodness has its own clever sub heading (very punfull).

At the end of the section of the three levels by each Creator-Curator, you can then read all about the mini games, with detailed paragraphs on how to avoid getting screwed in survival challenges, or how to beat the timer like a shot in the races.
once you are done with All the story levels, which are cake of course, (Cake I tell you!)

My favorite section, Entitled "Creations from the Orb of Dreamers", includes some of the best community levels, as selected by Mm. It includes screenshots of the levels, yet more object tick lists, and a picture of each of these creators, including Candyjunky, Foofles, Lokno, Gevurah22, and the creator of the first level i ever played, X-NOBODY-X, and a load more. a lot of these guys are well into their thirties and forties, just to show that LBP is almost entirely Universal age wise, or just that some people have a lot of time on their hands to run around as a piece of carpet creating complicated levels for us kiddies to play.

You can then move onto a list of all trophies to date and how to achieve them, including game of the year trophies. Now we move onto The PSP section with the all- new levels designed especially for the PSP version, the controls and onto another career guide, just as in depth as the PS3 story guide with pictures of less quality, as the quality was sacrificed as a result of the scale down to the smaller system. Once the PSP story guide is through, you get an in depth guide on creating walkways, see-saws, swinging platforms and tons much more. Great stuff. Very in depth and Very helpful.

This is definitely going to be the prize addition to my collection of ps3 game guides and magazines. For a price of ?11.99 from any Game shop (i got mine from Game) . I would recommend this to anyone who is as fascinated by the world of LittleBigPlanet and wants to achieve greatness in either the online scoreboards, on their trophy collection, or Get the All-Powerful crown that grants immediate adoration and respect from the LBP community(or at least looks kinda nice), but perhaps a loss of self respect for spending 11 hours a day 7 days a week building a video game. But seriously building a level that is appreciated by other members of the online community is a great feeling of pride and achievement, which this guide has the power to grant you. Okay it's about 50-50 but this definetly helped me to learn the basics . This was fun to write! - Soup

or Get the All-Powerful crown that grants immediate adoration and respect from the LBP community, but perhaps a loss of self respect for spending 11 hours a day building an amazing level!

I don't mean this to be disrespectful, but I had a good laugh at this part.

I think around here you will find that the crown does anything but grant immediate respect from the LBP community. For every amazing creator that has been crowned, there are probably ten just as deserving. For every amazing creator that is crowned, another has been crowned for dressing up like an idiot or decorating their house LBP style.

If spending 11 hours a day creating was a sure fire way to a crown, most of us would have ten by now.
