Moving Dark Matter? :O
Archive: 5 posts
I know this has probably been asked before but I have searched these threads a little and couldn't find one. If anyone here can remember (alllllll that way back ) to when you played the LBPC Logic Introduction level, you may recall a part where they are showing you the scraps from the green material being recycled and made into dark matter. After that, a small device comes along to "Pick up" the dark matter and gives the impression that the dark matter is being moved away, and I would like to know how this is done. The only method I can think up is using alot of cleverly timed emitters to give the effect of it moving away. If you don't know what I am talking about and you have a spare moment, take a look in the level and you will see what I mean. What I'm thinking it could have been was a simple sticker that looked like DM on a block of cardboard that was rolled off... | 2010-02-28 17:09:00 Author: Ragfell Posts: 729 |
Or it's simply a glitched material. There was a way to do that way back, but it was fixed I believe. There will be someone along shortly telling you in which level you can get it. | 2010-02-28 17:12:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
There will be someone along shortly telling you in which level you can get it. Hellooo! I believe Sehven has a level with lots of different cow glitched materials thats copy free. | 2010-02-28 19:04:00 Author: theamilien Posts: 485 |
It's called the "cow glitch". Basically, you could take a material like dissolve, and make it look like stone. It would still be light, grabbable, and dissolvable, but look just like stone. It was patched a while back, but you can still get them as prizes in glitch levels. It was especially useful for peach floaty and pink floaty that didn't look so ugly and puffy. | 2010-03-01 01:22:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
