Scoreboard help

Jus finishing off my new level and i need some help, maybe a dumb question cos loads of people do it....but i cant figure out how to remove the platform on the scoreboard. i only want it to take up one layer and i cant find a way to tweak or remove the base of it. help please? | 2010-02-28 13:56:00 Author: Bombw87 Posts: 126 |
I'm sure there are multiple ways to do this, but I usually just crush it under a large piece of rock or metal. Make a big square, drop it on the scoreboard. There you go. | 2010-02-28 15:25:00 Author: Thegide Posts: 1465 |
I aways wanted to knew that too... Just crushing it with a big block ? It's cool, I thought it was more complicated (like capturing it and emitting it or stuff like that...) Thanks! | 2010-02-28 15:37:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Change the material on the base to dissolve, attach it to a switch, activate switch Bombs are better, and it would suit his name more Bombw87 bombs scoreboards. | 2010-03-01 15:40:00 Author: Kern Posts: 5078 |
I don't think the dissolvement (can't think of a better word) of scoreboard bases is possible anymore, I think for some reason Mm have patched it. | 2010-03-01 17:07:00 Author: Holguin86 Posts: 875 |
I was always wondering this too, squishing seems like it would be a little bit cleaner and easy but bombing it would be fun... hmmm.... | 2010-03-01 18:05:00 Author: shebhnt Posts: 414 |
As long as you consider it fun to remove the stickers left behind afterwards.... | 2010-03-01 18:14:00 Author: Thegide Posts: 1465 |
Dissolve, defo works. Just change the base to dissolve, and put a mag key switch on it. Invert the switch and connect it to the base. No clean up necessary. | 2010-03-01 18:19:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
Can you still do that? I can't attach switch handles to scoreboard bases anymore ... shame, I hate squishing stuff - much prefer dissolve. Squishing's a rather hikey method, IMO. | 2010-03-01 19:39:00 Author: Holguin86 Posts: 875 |
Why switch handles? Just use a button! http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/6281/aphotoi.jpg (http://img690.imageshack.us/i/aphotoi.jpg/) | 2010-03-02 22:00:00 Author: aphexZero Posts: 37 |
