Whale Rider!TJapan http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/asset.php?fid=11644&uid=1715&d=1267360100Ride our whale chariots in a bid to get the most points! Check out the scenery and try to keep your point combo going while driving one of 4 unique Whale Chariots. This Level is made for 1-2 players. Everything in this level was made by yours truly, (except the octopus tentacles... those are just rad) and the balance and thrust of these little guys is set up pretty good. Features: 4 different Chariots! Drive a Whale, an Orca, And a Male or Female Bottlenose Dolphin! In-Depth Tutorial with tips on How to ride your chariot to the finish in style! These chariots ride underwater, on the surface, or even on land! This level actually came about because of NuclearFish' contraption challenge 10. I liked these little guys so much i decided to just make a level around them. I hope you enjoy the level as much as i do! F4F rules- tell me what you want feedback on and i'll play through it!

The level is out already!?! (How do you do it? No sleep...?) Cool, I got a chance to testdrive the whale for a bit. Can't wait to see what the finished level looks like.

I think This is one of my most "fun" levels, I've ever made. I'm pretty happy with it... and i had a weekend with naught else to do, so my wife and i had fun decorating it and making it look cool. Seriously though guys... these little guys are great fun... once you learn how to drive them.

so... has anyone tried it yet? It's a good time, but i guess if noone has the time it's understandable. anyway, without feedback it can't get any better... but i suppose if noone wants to play it, it doesnt much matter if it gets better... oh the humanity!!!

I tried it - my son and I had some fun going through it. In the end, we both let go of the animals and started trying to directly grab point bubbles. I thought for what it was, it was fun - but a bit slow for my tastes.

I just tried this and had fun with it! It's a very cute idea, but like CCubbage said, it could be a bit faster. I also wondered about players simply letting go and swimming for points. If they were inside the whale, that might solve the problem, but it also might screw up your mechanic, so who knows! I do think a race timer or something might be nice as well, but overall I had fun with it. Nice little mini game!

Yep - I played it last night with two friends and what starts off as a sincere effort to hang on to the adorable whales & dolphins quickly de-evolves into a mad swim for point bubbles. I love the idea of what you've got but the pace is a little slow and the whales are a little awkward to steer. I still like it though. Also the ship is hollow at the end and it's fairly easy to get yourself stuck inside it. I still gave it 4 stars

Was fun. Definately for 2P not just 1P alone. Nice use of the 3D layering (from a certain video tutorial!!), it definately gave depth to your visuals. I think you could put more variety into the sand itself, perhaps make seperate objects, or maybe sand on rock, few barnacles here and there. The vehicles are fun, but i agree a little slow. Perhaps more to do on land as well would add variety. I liked the instructions and the fact I could choose my craft. My whale got stuck under a big down slope but I couldnt get free. I remembered there was something at the start about how to get free but I couldnt remember it by that point. I would suggest you dont put plunging slopes in if its possible for that vehicle to get stuck. however - i loved the fact that it was a race level where I could actually control the vehicle! may we have more like these please you could even make a single player adventure using this mechanic. Put the player inside the whale, and surround the player with electric stuff and make them naviagate through. If you wanna F4F and have a spare year, you could play my discworld level Adi
