OH NO!!! THE PRINCESS!!! World 6: Iced LandCaptainCowboyHat
The adventure continues and begins to end as you infiltrate the Dinosaur King's frozen lands and probably die a lot and say cuss words because, man, I'm really not shy about making this stuff too hard.

Seriously.
In a level that prompted jackofcourse to describe it as "brutal" and call me a *******, you will run and slide and die.

Enjoy, everyone! Or, failing that, burn me in effigy.

Haven't been on LBP all week, despite hearing about lots of recent awesome levels. Haven't even played the new Azure Palace level yet. But there's only one series of levels that I'll immediately stop whatever I'm doing to go and play, and it just so happens this is it.

Turning the PS3 on right now, I'll edit this post with some feedback once I've played through it!

EDIT: Just played it, and as usual, it awesomely awesome! Definately the hardest yet - glass and electrfied opbjects are usually a nightmare, but once again you've made something insanely difficult still fun to play. Loved the King's comment about the bear too.

A few things that maybe you could imporve:

- The laser things, it's a bit difficult (at least for me) to remember exactly where they appear. There's no visual clue except when the light is there. At a later bit when you're grabbing the ceiling you've got gaps where the laser/lights are, which I thought was better as I knew where they would be coming from.

- The boss was a lot easier than I was expecting. I know it's probably difficult to keep evolving the same boss design with each level, but I didn't get a sense that this was bigger or better than the others, quite the opposite in fact. After all the perils in the rest of the level it seemed a bit of a letdown.

Anywho, 5 stars and a heart from me as usual. Can't wait for the next one!

The best yet! No casual players are ever going to complete this. It is beyond hard, but it's so much fun!!
Awesome obstacles and simple effective visuals. It's your normal CaptainCowboyHat level, but even harder!

It manages to make glass gameplay feel fair and not at all frustrating, which is an achievement in itself. Well, when I say fair, about as fair as this series can get.

Classic dialogue, with one part in particular standing out, but I won't spoil it for everyone!
I reckon you could rack up a pretty good score at the start of the level. If you have more than half of it by the time you get to the scoreboard, (if you can get to the scoreboard that is ) then that is seriously impressive!

Another amazing addition to the best series in LBP!

5 stars and my heart 4evaz.

P.S I reckon I could have a winning top score already on first play...bring it!

Before I get a lot of comments on the boss, I'll just point out that I made it easier on purpose. To be honest, I didn't even want to put one in there.

(But thanks for the comment, Nuclearfish!)

I want kebab now

On topic: While the boss is a lot shorter, I think I probably lost more lives on it than the others. I could take my time and wait for the right chance with them, this one I just had to get as many brains as I could before I inevitably got hit.

OH NO! I just turned my PS3 off but I'll be sure to play this in about 6 hours. I assume that there will be some sort of pipe related sequel with a level themed around darkness following it.2010-02-27 03:48:00

Love it but right before the blue plasma area glue down the checkpoint - it rolls down into the electricity and you can't finish the level Love it other than that.2010-02-27 05:01:00

Whoa, wait, what? Which blue plasma area? I never noticed an unglued checkpoint!

I have a hate hate relationship with this level. I hate how you made it so difficult yet accesible and I hate how you made it so fun and funny at the same time. Amazing job, one of my favourites Has anyone aced this(have YOU even aced this?)? To be nitpicky - you reused the enemies from the water one. You could've made polar bears or penguins or something.2010-02-27 15:28:00

I don't think I've aced any of my levels. Ever. Well, except for the Ali Baba level, but that was designed to be aced.

And, yeah, maybe I'll make a couple new enemies for the next one...

Well, three sackpeople dying at a nearly constant speed and re-emerging from the checkpoint was all it took. Thing rolled off the platform to the right. lol Funny - till we realized we had to start over. lol

This was a fantastic level, and the best in the series! Reading the comments on the level I thought I was going to come out traumatized but I actually found it easier than some of your other levels. Once again the humor was intact, I lol'd in that "Ho ho" part.

The level design was also beautiful, the glass looked crystal clear and the corner editor work on it was perfect, it was a nice contrast to the square winter material.

I'm not playing this ever again. Not that I didn't enjoy it, I sure did, hell, how much I did, but I just couldn't help it but to feel a bit of empathy for my sackboy's pain when dying countless -literally countless. I believe I couldn't count 'em- times.

All in all, 5 stars and a heart. A bloody looking heart, prone to suffer heart attacks.

Wow, it amazes me how something can be so frustrating, but fun! Thank goodness for the infinite checkpoints, because I died alot! I loved the level though and think it's a great fit with the rest of the series. In terms of visuals, it's not my favorite, but it felt "bigger" then the other parts and I felt that I traveled to many different areas. Very epic feeling.

As for the gameplay, you already know! It's tough! Very tough at times! Thinking about those purple spotlights makes me want to... ok, come down, I'm alright. I got through them. I can forget about them and never come back!

Great entry into the Oh No!!! series, keep em coming!

Oh, I hate you so much. Five stars *grumble grumble grumble"

To make the level even harder, a squeeky voiced kid joined in and was absolutely horrible. No problem there, I am very patient. If it looks like we aren't getting anywhere (20 or so times of dying) then I will just jump ahead to the next checkpoint. After all of the screaming at the level and yelling "Wait up" (normally on a part that I'm just absolutely tired of watching him die on) right at the moving red platforms, he bailed. Grr, now I was mad at all the time I spent helping him figure how to get past parts. And he even made fun of me as he left?! Thats just mean. The rest of the level after that was infuriating (fun).

I'm expecting to lose even more of my life and the pipe maze. Oh, I'm going to love that. I want to see how you do it, so excited...

Played it yesterday.

I loved the difficulty. It was just right.

And about creating offline, I do that sometimes, too.

It's easier, because then your friends won't tempt you into playing "cool levels".

Wait, what?

You know, because the whole series is an homage to another game... so world 8 is roughly the same theme as the other game's world 8

It's 9:30 in the morning over here, I can make no sense! It's allowed!

So will world 8 be a dark castle? I had thought that in the first place but i wasn't sure.
Also, after you finish the series it would be good if you made a homage to the rival game... *cough* sonic *cough*
