Has anybody but me played this game, recognize it, like it or in any way feel connected to it, feel free to reply. i was looking through the bargain bin at gamestop and found a real gem called "we love katamari". for those of you who arent familiar with the katamari franchise i can only say that its one of the best playstation games that you never played. you play as the prince of all cosmos, or just "the prince", and roll stuff up into a huge ball so that the king of all cosmos can pop it into the sky and make a satr out of it. the whole concept is so simple but yet the makers of this game has wrapped it into such weird package filled with catchy music, funny dialouge, interesting characters and just bloody great gameplay so its a game that really etches into your head. my record size is about 18526 m i think...

Oh yes, I have a special place in my heart and on my PS2 mem card for Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari. Great games, and as Rabid-Coot said, you can get them updated for PS3 in the form of Katamari Forever.

We Love Katamari is probably my favorite of all the Katamari games. We have this gaming place near my house that has giant projectors and I used to go there and roll up the world on a screen as big as an entire wall. ^__^ This is going to sound super sappy, and forgive me, but the game actually got me through a very hard time. My mother passed away the week I purchased the game and played a whole lot of it. It cheered me up a great deal!

I love Katamari! I've yet to play the older games but I did have Beautiful Katamari on the 360- and I still need to get hold of a copy of Katamari Forever on the PS3... !
