Volume on sound objects
Archive: 8 posts
I dunno about anybody else, but I think it would be pretty cool to be able to tweak the volume of sound objects - like, make things louder or quieter. What do you guys think? | 2010-02-23 18:51:00 Author: standby250 Posts: 1113 |
Certainly. | 2010-02-23 18:52:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Been a few threads that have touched on this, but yup... would be handy. However as I have told others, there are ways around it. Moving the speakers further away or doubling them. Sometimes just turning the music track(s) down, rather than up all the way helps make speaker sounds stand out more. | 2010-02-23 18:56:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
yes i recently needed loud seagull noises, but the only ones you can get are very quite this would be very usesfull on both levels... some of the noises can be to loud -_- This would also allow some cool sound effects making things sound like there are getting closer or further away Good idea | 2010-02-23 21:18:00 Author: samalot Posts: 591 |
Is there an option to use sensor switches on "speed" to increase the pitch of some constant audio objects? That would be awesome... Maybe I just haven't tried it yet. | 2010-02-23 22:04:00 Author: Richasackboy Posts: 619 |

Yes you can alter the pitch, but still not the volume. Considering there are a few sounds that will drown out anything else in your level and a few that can barely be heard without any music on, this is something that really needs addressing imo. | 2010-02-23 23:13:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
I wouldn't mind being able to set the trigger radius for it instead of having to use a sensor switch. But yes, having speed and volume adjustment would be good. | 2010-02-24 08:25:00 Author: The Last Stop Posts: 240 |
