Dead Ocean 1

Dead Ocean 1ChrisHaldor
Well, this is my first uploaded level so far, Dead Ocean! Some horror fans among you will recognise from the title that this level is somewhat inspired by the game: dead space.
This level sees you arriving onvoard the deep-sea oil mining vesse, the Poseidon. The ship appears to be devoid of life, and most of the electronic systems are offline, so this first installment of the game focuses on getting some of the systems working again, before moving deeper into the ship to find out where everyone went.

As this is indeed my first level, I would appreciate any pointers on how to hit the awesome button on my futre projects, as I am intending to make another level very soon.

i don't now a thread about putting pictures from PS3 to PC (there most likely is).

But it's easy. take a picture in littlebigplanet. press square and bring up the info on the photo. export it to HDD. you'll find the picture in the pictures section of your ps3. then just copy them to a memory stick. easy!

as for the level, ill check it out. sounds great!

alright! first feedback!

ok, i enjoyed the gameplay of the level, especially the water based puzzle. the wording in the speech bubbles sounded like you knew the jargon and was very authentic.

my only criticism was those moving platforms in the ducts. i sometimes got squished under them. maybe add a sensor switch to make the platform move when the player landed on it. also, the level was surprisingly short. i thought it would be longer but it's good there's a part 2.

a fun level to play. good job!

hiya. well done on your first level. We thought that the decor was nice but could have used more variety. Well done on using some complex logics. some bubble points would have been nice - especially in the section with the keydoor.

Ta for the feed back!

I was planning to make those platforms a little less... useless, but never got round to it so I guess that will be the next target for editing.

And yes, moar bubblez would be a shiny idea!

Well sorry, i had no idea. But then I did actually name it "Dead Ocean 1," so it's not like i tried dead ocean and then changed it after.

I'll be sure to try your Dead Ocean level!

Oh dang, I forgot that I said I would play this.
It was decent until I got to the part where you start swimming. I had no idea where to go, and there were no air bubbles. So I either gave up or ran out of lives. Don't remember.
Maybe I'll try it again whenever I can. But I'm just going to say some air bubbles or scuba gear or some clues (with lights) as to where to go would be helpful.

When you close the door, the water goes. I should probably explain that...2010-03-01 20:27:00
