I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask...but what type of IM system do the majority of the users here utilize? AIM, Yahoo, Google, or another? I'm thinkin of getting one to use with this site, but I don't want to have to juggle three or more... So, which should I choose to im the most amount of people?

I guess it'd depend on who exactly you'd want to contact. Definitively not gmail though, I don't think really anyone uses that. I know I use msn mostly, but I don't know what else... I know msn and yahoo can interconnect but that's just one on one conversations, and same with aim and gtalk... I'd say either msn, yahoo or aim... depends on who exactly you want to talk to and what they have I spose ;o.

Definitively not gmail though, I don't think really anyone uses that. Hey! I use Gmail (Yassendark@gmail.com) Altho i use it because i have no other chioce for now i guess... And I guess i do have a couple of msn email accounts, so yeah... *runs*

There's a free program called Adium that you can use to combine all your different IM clients (AIM, Yahoo, Gmail, MSN, even facebook chat) it takes a bit to get everything set up correctly but once you do its worth it.

Plenty of multi-client messengers around (like adium mentioned above, but that is Mac only). There is really no need to have several when you can have all in one.

I have Gmail but it extremly unpopular, i think AOL is pretty big but MSN is up there. It all depends what you want them for, i would say the community in a whole has a varied IM thingies.
