Write any dreams you've ever had. I find them interesting. Heres one I had last night.

Ok, this story did not involve anyone that I've ever seen before. I made them all up. Basically it is a zombie apocalypse type thing. The rules are, you become a zombie if their blood touches you. It happens immmediately and the physical changes are very minor. Immediately after the blood touches you, you become infected and a zombie. These zombies can climb walls and and are very fast. They aren't GREAT at climbing but can hold them self onto a ceiling if they want. They are very intelligent. They also can peel back their skin to drop blood onto people.

Okay, about 5 people were in a room in a house(about half were japanese) and they were talking about what to do (the zombies had already started spreading). They are in the house of couple who is in the group on 5. The three other people were just random survivors needing help. A zombie breaks through the wall and they all run in different directions (but the couple run with each other). A woman is running through a hallway with a zombie chasing after her. A tentacle things comes out of his back and impales her, her blood goes flying everywhere. She is dead but the zombie then lets his blood drip on to her, making her a zombie.

Another person is hiding in a closet. Everything is quiet so he walks out to look for a better place to hide. As he walks out of the door, a zombie jumps down fro the ceiling and bashes his head against the wall, killing him. He drops blood onto him to turn him into a zombie.

The last man (besides the couple) has escaped the house and is in a car. He starts it up but heres a thump as he is pulling away. He drives faster and runs over a bunch of zombies. The zombie from earlier had jumped on to his car and now punched a hole through to roof. The man swerves the car, trying to throw him off. He crashes into a street light, killing himself. The zombie turns him into a zombie.

The couple is running away from the house and is going up a large hill to a lighthouse. It is raining heavily and there is a small group of zombies in the distance that notice them. They struggle getting up the hill and the woman falls but her husband help her back up. They make it into the lighthouse just in time. It is very quiet. Here is where I have a very vivid recollection of what happened and there is a certain angle that would have to be done (if this were a movie. Not that it would be as this is angle is a little cliche but I love it). The wife pulls out a cell phone to call for help and the camera is zoomed in so you can see the couple shoulder up. The woman is turned in the general direction of the viewer and moving in place. The man is japanese and has glasses. Suddenly a drop of blood falls on to his shoulder. The wife (not looking at him and doesn't see this) turns around after not being able to get a signal and sees her husbands neck getting slit open by NOTHING. It just happens very slowly from the (camera) right to the left. She screams as she looks up and sees the zombie hiding on the ceiling.

Then my dream ended.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR DREAMS! I find them very interesting.

Oh another person that has epic zombie dreams, glad I'm not the only one

Hmmm well last night I had a bizarre dream where a woman who I had apparently had sex with in the past turns up one day and gives me a child thats apparently mine, she has to leave because bounty hunters are after her. So she and her lover escaped to Mars (yeah I think it was the future or something). I vaguely remember watching her escaping gunfire with her man in between these huge red pillars of earth all over Mars and I think she escaped.

Now in complete contrast I was looking after this kid that looked and sounded like the youngest kid from Weeds (I was watching it just before I went to bed, go figure) and for some reason I had taken him to a parent-child bonding athletics class, that turned out to be just mothers and daughters, so he got ****** off at me.

I was then woken by my alarm which is why I remember it so well, such a strange dream!

My dream, isn't as bad, but its really weird how it happens.

It used to happen, only at my old apartment.
We had this little "shortcut" behind the apartments, so you could get from one side to the other easily.

And I had this dream a handful of times.

The dream was, me laying in my bed sleeping. Being woken up by screaming girls. I looked out my window and saw a guy with a chainsaw chasing these girls. That's all! I would wake up everytime at the exact moment of the dream. Now that I moved to my new house, I don't ever have that dream. Lol the dream was based on my location I guess

well i NEVER remember my dreams, i remember 3 dreams ive ever had in my life, TOTAL, they were short so ill share them all in the order they happened in my life

When I was about five i had this dream where i was outside this resturaunt and it was really windy and rainy, my dad was holding a really big umbrella (not unrealistically big, though) and i wanted to hold it so he gave it too me and he turned his back to talk to some people, and the wind caught up and i flew away with it. I was about 50 feet in the air and i heard my dad yell, LET GO!! so i did and i fell into his arms. even though i wasnt directly above him.

when i was a little older (about 6) i had a dream where i woke up in my room and i had a poster of Tommy from the rugratz, (little kids show) and he started turn EXTREMELY grotesque. like more disgusting then anything ive seen in real life, a scary movie has never been able to pull off better. i cant even describe what IT looked like.

then when i was around 10 or 11 i saw the movie Spirited Away, which is an excellent anime, i HIGHLY reccomend it, if you havent seen it. anyways there is a seen where the little girls parents are cursed form eating the food in the bath house and cant stop eating and turn into pigs in form of her eyes, at the time i hadnt seen anything like that on tv before, so it disturbed me, so i had a dream where I could here snorting from my parents room. i went in there and my parents were eating fried chicken and turned into pigs and then my dad ate me, i was in his stomache alive and it was huge inside, and inside was a real life version of the main girl from the movie, and she said "welcome" and ate me, and then i woke up.

those are the only dreams that i remember in my life, they might seem to be long, but thats becuase i went into alot of detail, each dream only lasted 30 seconds or less.

share yours!!

I like the last one the best as i love that movie as well (like you couldn't tell). Anyway about the thing "Each dream lasted 30 seconds", dreams are actually about 10 mins in length on average and are replayed many times while you are sleeping.

Ok.

Sometimes I have this dream, and its all based the same thing resulting in the end. Falling from some extremely high place (By high I mean like REALLY high. As in, a bit lower than an aeroplane would fly.).

I will tell you about one dream I had. It was... I was on a school excursion we were out in a field with grass. It was a field that was between two forests. Maybe more of a giant clearing. What i can remember is having this giant grey slab of concrete beside me, with a ladder on it. I climbed all the way up (This usually ggoes very fast and I dont remember this) and the when I get to the top, I just jumped off.

The feeling in my stomach is so srong and so terrible I almost want to cry out in pain. You know that lurching feeling in your stomach when you jump off a high place or on a rollercoaster? Well thats the feeling I get and its not nice. It becomes too much to bear (You really dont know how painful it can be) I wake up. When it DOES get too much to bear i'm usually just about to hit the ground.

I kinda like these dreams actually. They can be fun until it hurts. Usually when I have a tiny bit of lucidity i my dream I jump off the nearest high ledge or cliff or something...

Apparently this is what it is: This strange falling sensation and muscle twitch is known as a hypnagogic myoclonic twitch or ?Hypnic jerk? If this has happened to you on more than one occasion, don't worry, you are not alone. Close to 70 percent of all people experience this phenomenon just after nodding off, according to a recent study at the Mayo Clinic.

Okay, I feel like I got enough responses so... ITS TIME FOR ROUND 2!!!!

I was in a camp with some friends(they were only my friends in the dream, Never met them in real life)and for some reason it was always sun down and never day or night. My friends and I had just woken up. We went outside and saw a commotion. We looked on the roof and saw what was called a Horrorboard. It was a screen that showed you your worst fear. It showed me my great grandma dieing but I don't know what it showed my friend. He suddenly went berserk and started killing everyone until I was the only one alive. I comforted him and then I was with my family.Apparently this camp was my home and then I was told that my great grandmother had died(she already had in real life). I went outside to see her and she told me how she died. Her tooth and gone inside the roof of her mouth when she tried to get something off of it. Then I was suddenly on vacation with my parents and we were at a nice hotel. My family and I went to a restuarant where me and my sister started fighting and then my whole family was. Then I was in a forest where Kirby was eating a bunch of stars. Then I woke up.

THREE MORE (For no reason except that I love you all *hug*)!!!

This is a recurring dream I had. My mom was driving my sister and I to her friends house. On the way there, a blue pick up truck with a boat attched to the back was behind us. When we turned into the drive way, it kept going down the road. My sister's friend wasn't home so we left. The same blue pickup was near us but this time it was right beside us and driving on the wrong side of the road. My windo was rolled down and suddenly the man driving it jumped into our car and shot me. I was barely alive but I saw him shoot my mom and then my sister. Then I woke up.

Another recurring dream, this one very short.

I think I was waiting in the dentist office alone and the that DR. N guy from the crash bandicoot games comes out and tells me that he has killed my family. H eshows me their dead bodies. I woke up crying.

This one was also recurring and also very short.

I was at the playground of my old daycare and my cat, stan, was there. This may sound funny but I also woke up crying. His face looked like a waffle (he had it in his mouth) and he died of suffocation.

I've had some really good dreams before.

But I won't talk about those.

One time I dreamt I was in the tiny flower area you find at grocery stores. I turned and it suddenly became an ice rink. There were these people wearing costumes of characters from Toy Story and it was like those On Ice productions. The ice cracked down the middle. We all started falling down (me first) and it was dark. I was falling and then I woke up with a shock. I had never known that waking up like that happened until then. I thought it was just something used on TV to show that people were scared. That was one of only like, 4 times in my life that I have woken up with a shock.

Lol, I don't feel bad, I feel bad that he's dying. But my laughter had nothing to do with him dying, it had to do with your dream.

Well I already told LBG this one in gmail but whatever.

I was riding alone on the Big Bad Wolf (roller coaster at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg) and then the ride suddenly stopped and I was flung out of my seat. I started flying and became superman. Suddenly I was in London at night and I landed on the top of a flag pole, like a bird.

SLEEP PARALYSIS IS THE SCARIEST THING EVER!!

It's when you wake up and you can see a Dark Figure near you. It can move around and come close to you. You can even hear noises. ALSO you cant move at all. I heard about this guy who had it happen to him and when the dark figure left his room, he heard glass shatter but when he got up in the morning to check, nothing was broken.

!!!! Wait a sec, it's a thing!!! I thought only I got that! It's so weird to hear that other people experience the same feeling! Have you gotten out of it? It only happens to me once in a while. But when I do, it happens multiple times in the same night. I use all my strength to get up, but it gives you this weird bad feeling, so I hate doing it, but I have to because I hate waking up with that jolt. Have you ever tried to stay through it, because you're aware of what's happening? That's weird too, that you can know it's happening, but you still hear the sounds. I've tried to endure it more than once, but I just can't. It's way too scary, with the noise and knowing that you're going to get the jolt. It's such a strange feeling to express...

Lol. I don't recall having that happen to me before, I do remember having a bad dream, and NOT wanting to get out of bed. But that was when I was really small, and I would get enough guts, and just run from my room, through the hall and jump into my parents bed. That was when I was like 10 though.

Thank God that doesn't happen to me.

Yeah, I experience it all the time! It's kinda normal for me now xD

This is usually how it goes:

I wake up, normal and everything, then I fall asleep again, and in a matter of seconds (which in reality could be more hours than seconds) I get this sinking feeling, liek I'm getting deeper and deeper...At this point, I have to makea decision, either I let myself sink through, or I quickly close my eyes and open them real fast, in order to escape it!

If I choose the latter, everything goes back to normal, and more likely than not, I can't go back to sleep, so I just get up and move on...but if I choose to sink in, A LOT of weird things happen, and when I say a lot, I mean it!

I can't move at all, the only things I can move are my eyelids and a bit of my neck, everything else is set in stone, even my eyeballs, as if they are fixed in one spot. If I move my neck, my eyes stay fixated in the very same spot, and it usually hurts...

I hear many random things, most of which are creepy, and straight out of horror movies...I see even scarier things, shadowy figures, monsters, disfigured looking people...evil spirits...Even if I see a normal human, he or she usually ends up transforming into something horrible...

After I decide that I can't take it anymore, I close shut my eyes, really hard, then once I open them, I take a deep breath, and that usually gets me out of the paralysis!

It's a very horrible and scary experience first time round, but after you get used to it, it could be really fun and interesting! =D

Alright, I'll share just one of mine. It started out with me, all alone, playing the piana. Slowly, the keys turned into void, and I was sucked in. Suddenly, a man with a top hat similar to Abe Lincoln appeared in front of me, and I was tied down to a chair. He slowly approached me, and I struggled to escape from the chair. It however, was no use, seeing as I was in a dream. He came up to me, put his hand on my face, and things swirled. I was then suddenly on top of a building, and I could feel myself jumping off. I fell for what seemed like an eternity, then when I hit the ground, I woke up, on the floor of my bedroom.2008-09-30 03:42:00

I never find it 'fun.' After I wake up from it, I'm afraid to go back to sleep, because I think it'll happen again - which it does - of course.2008-09-30 03:44:00

OH yeah. I move a lot in my sleep. I've woken up on the opposite side of the bed, on my face, with the covers in the hallway (i tuck them under the bed so i dont know how that happens lol)Seriously this time, off to bed.

Here are 2 videos describing the horrors of sleep paralysis. DO NOT WATCH if you are scared easily. I'm dead serious. I'm so freaked out.

Part 1: YouTube - Science of SP Pt 1: Don't Move!

Part 2: YouTube - Science of SP Pt 2: Listen Up!

I don't understand how you can think they are fun. It's the scariest experience ever. Well, unless those horrors REALLY happened to you, but that's another story.2008-09-30 04:03:00

Consider yourself lucky. I want to stop thinking about it, but I can't.

What I was saying was that it's worse to actually be attacked by dark figures than to imagine it.

I think I might have seen the videos before...Is it someone recounting their sleep paralysis tales? >_>

xD Obviously! That's what's cool about it, I can sometimes use my imagination against the creatures I see and whatnot...Sometimes I can control what's happening =D

I can't. Just a whimpering puppy. I'm completely helpless...

And no, it has a lot of scientific talk, but they show someone experiencing it.

I think aliens like pulling pranks on humans.

I mean, if you were a hyperintelligent being, wouldn't you do the same?

I dream very, very rarely. But I usually remember them, and they're usually pretty realistic, but with some unrealistic elements to them. (Like in some how I can, video-game style, pull random guns out of thin air, although they only have a few shots in them. It's odd.) I am also at control in my dreams. As far as I can tell, I control myself, and think and act as I would.

Here's a notable one:

The setting is that the lighting is either shortly after sunset, and it's dark but you can still see, or else night with a very bright moon, so everything is a kind of blue-gray tint. This entire dream is in first person. Also, time lapse in this dream is very apparent. I'm walking around in a thin forest, and I'm killing tigers as I come across them. (Don't ask, I don't know.) After some of that, I suddenly come across this woman. She's fairly tall, fairly pretty, and has fairly long, very blonde straight hair, and her features are very angular, with a long face. (I have her pictured in my mind, that's about as good as I can get, though.) Well, we start talking, just about some random between-stranger chat. Well, somewhere in the process, we're now engaged, although that was not talked about between us. She turns and leaves, and I turn towards the trees and begin constructing a house. (The trees pretty much turn straight into planks, and I make a shack, but it turns out to be a small, quaint house.) So then I head to work. The dream cuts to me returning from work. I walk inside my house, and see the woman, now my wife, who is about six months pregnant, cooking dinner, and my roughly two-year-old son (who looks EXACTLY like both me and this woman) running around and playing with things, so she greets me, and I look around inside this house. There are roughly four-six people sitting around a table, who I have no idea who they are, but are apparently now friends of my wife and I, and they're talking with each other, and my wife, and I pretty much remain silent and look around my house. (I could describe it, but it'd just take too long.) Well, time skips until later on, where my wife and I walk to my old apartment, which is nearby. It's apparently used for storage, and we're getting some things from over there. My wife and I begin talking, and she starts speaking about herself, but before she gets to say anything with real information in it, the dream ends.

The biggest thing about this dream was that I returned home to find that I had a wife, a son, and another child on the way, all of which I was responsible for, out of pretty much nowhere. Really, it was rather serious in tone, as these were now what I was to take care of to the best of my ability. Rather odd, rather unsettling...but rather cool, at the same time.

I had another dream last night. This ones a little strange, but appropriate.

I only remember part of it but if I remeber the rest, I wil post.

Me and my friend tyler were at this amusment park that I had made up (I've been to that same park in my dreams before) and we got onto this blue ride that had very strange seats. They were like baby's high chairs but backwards. it was a small ride and basically what happened was that we ropde it. Thats it.

Writing that reminded me of a fairly long dream I had that was in another part of this amusment park.

My family and I were in the water park section and were walking under many different rides and getting sprayed with water. I remeber an extended period of just watching this very strange log ride. It was entirely at ground level and was more like a linear fountain with a path. I split up from my family to go another place where I found this giant edge. It was a sloped rock with water flowing down it. It was humungous and was right next to a restuarant/hut where my family was eating. I slid down the giant rock thing and was in the playground of my elemntary school. My and some friends (who appeared out of nowhere) and started playing football until we heard a siren. They dissapeared and I started to look for my family. A security guard started chasing after me and I just ran until I was in the section of the part which was in the dream above. I rode a pirate ship ride, then a Flying Machine type ride (LBG will know what I'm talking about) until i continued to run back to find my family. I came back to the waterpark section and found my family.

Then I woke up.

EDIT: I've also started reading this book called "Dream Psychology" by Sigmund Freud. I got it on Stanza on my iPhone.

Woah... I had the weirdest dream a few days ago.

Okay, so there was some sort of big war that was going on, there were two sides. I was hiding somewhere, in the sort of crates you would find in Shipment on CoD4. It was dark and it looked cold... One of the leaders found me, so he took me for his team, which was packed with soldiers.

We were walking along a railway and some civilians were walking along a platform that you would usually find in a boat. Then; we started an amazingly epic dance (seriously, what?), the civilians then clapped.

What happened afterwards I can't remember, but there was a huge fight (duh, it was a war >_>). A soldier who was dressed, and looked like, Johnny Depp (acting as Sweeney Todd) fired a gun, the bullet rebounded off a metal power station and hit him in his face. He fell to the ground and I suddenly felt sad, then I felt queasy and dropped to the floor.

I woke up... Seriously, what the heck? The strange thing is, it didn't even feel like a nightmare - even though it was a war -, just a really, really weird dream.
