| So i've been trying to come up with something original for a logo of my initials.... It's not very original, because... i've seen it a couple of times before: 2 letters combined in a circular shape. | Good solid concept. Ideas for consideration... When you reduce this down, the outside ring will virtually disappear and your initials will become thin lines rather than "chunky" pieces. I would suggest thickening these up to suit the mechanical aspect of the cog in general. Also, you initials lend themselves nicely to another idea... instead of the initial structure you have, split the cetre circle into 4 even quarters with blue "space" line between them, then deduct the bottom right quarter and fill in to make the letters - this way, the overall structure looks symmetrical and the initals will be harder to determine, but more subtle and clever. I like the simplicity, but one other tone (not colour) might be good to highlight and add contrast. I wonder what this would look like with bevel? (once reduced in size) What do you think? | Don't worry It flew over my head too. Its written so intelligently I can't comprehend it. But yeah, your Logo is cool. I would maybe get a darker blue and have it as outlines of the blue spots. Does that make sense? Sort of like in my sig, where one color fits into another, except yours would be less shadow-like then my sig. edit: I ment avatar when I said sig. | Yay - you did get it! - but join the top and base piece on left and leave a black line at the bottom right for the P. Still abstract but a little easier to get!
