The "R1" Sticker

Archive: 24 posts

Hey guys.

For some reason, either i'm just not looking hard enough or i'm blind :O
I don't have the R1 sticker. You know, the one thats on that triangle of poly in the 2nd level of the gardens? It just says R1 in the shape of the R1 button.
I have 100% Items and I've gotten the trophy for it, but I can't find that sticker in my collection and i've been wanting to use it for a while now!
Can someone tell me what it's classified in the sections as, and also what level its from so i can check that I DID get it?!

It's not collectible. You either have to find it in story mode and stick it to yourself, or find a community level that gives it away stuck to an object.2010-02-19 19:53:00

Continuing from comphy's summation, i believe that the R1 sticker is found in "first steps", at the beginning where one learns how to move blocks.2010-02-19 19:54:00

It is collectible!

You have to do one of the tutorials for bolts or strings or something (each one gives you different stuff.) I think there is quite alot of people that dont realise that even though you have completed the string tutorial, you can still get more stuff by doing the winch or piston tut.

You guys can now thank me!

I'm pretty sure that it isn't collectable actually... considering that I have done all the tutorials, 100%'d the levels, and I go through my stickers popit quite frequently. The R1 sticker is a sticker which shows up all the time as a "secret sticker".2010-02-19 20:43:00

Indeed it's not collectible. Of course there is a third option to what comphy suggests, which is to combine the options and steal it from a community level. The intermediate logic pack level definitely has one - that's where I go if I need one

there are so many secret stickers and decorations, most of them are really good. Why didn't MM give them as collectible? 2010-02-20 20:53:00

Sorry bro, you can't unlock it. It's one of the Secret Stickers that can only be claimed by peeling them off their surface and sticking the sticker on to yourself. Later you can peel the sticker off from you and put it anywhere you'd like!

Look up Secret Stickers in the community levels area! You'll find loads of them + decorations!

No, peel the sticker off with the Sticker Popit Cursor.

No the quality isn't as good and you can see the rest of the object it's on.

And i'm really confused some people say they have it some people say they don't!

I swear there's some sort of glitch with the original LBP tutorials, the ones that reward you with half ton of stickers. I definitely remember still seeing the question mark in my popit when I logged off one night, and when I logged on the next evening it had gone. I haven't got the Expert Creator trophy for completing all the tutorials either, despite the absence of the question mark. I emailed Mm about it but they didn't reply. Anyways, I'm assuming the R1 sticker is in one of those tutorials which I was never able to complete.2010-02-23 00:14:00

There do exist levels that have a bunch of stickers that MM doesn't give you. The R1 sticker is a rare sticker because you don't get to collect it. There is one level that I have hearted called "Rare Stickers That MM Didn't Give You!" It gives you an object with the R1 sticker on it as well as many others that are rare stickers too.2010-03-01 17:17:00
