Exotic Bird Aviary
Archive: 18 posts
Well...I've had this idea floating around for a while now. I LOVE birds and was thinking of creating a level chock full of different species of (preferably) exotic and colorful birds. This level wouldn't have much intense gameplay (no good at that lol), but it'd be more of a level where the player can chillax, see the birds, and take home a few to use in their levels. I have a small list of birds already: Macaw Toucan Parakeet (Budgie) Peafowl Lorikeet Sun Conure Lovebird Quetzal Bald Eagle Penquin Owl It's a shame...I love birds, yet I can barely think of any to put in a level. XD So that's where you guys come in. What kind of birds would YOU like to see? | 2010-02-19 01:55:00 Author: GreyMRP Posts: 588 |
That's a good idea! Those birds are so bright and unique. I'd say you could put in an ostrich (they are kind of uglier, but... different?), a kiwi bird, dodo (lol!), a bald eagle, a penguin (close enough to a bird?), an owl maybe, or one of THESE! Very cool idea! I like this kind of relaxing levels, more focused on the visuals! What about a cockatoo? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3643/3617709155_2a8a672542.jpg | 2010-02-19 03:10:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Well, in my neck of the woods we see many birds of prey, such as the California Condor, the Red-Tailed Hawk, and the Pelican. There's also many small kinds of birds that I see from time to time, such as the Cardinal, the Blue Jay and the Woodpecker (which would be very funny to see ). Sounds like a great idea! Just like the Space Ship level Mm praised. | 2010-02-19 05:02:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |

I don't know if a cockatiel would be counted as 'exotic',but they are extremely cute =) | 2010-02-22 11:11:00 Author: AbstractFlesh Posts: 837 |
Nice idea and I look forward to seeing them. How about : Kingfisher Bird of Paradise Golden Eagle Vulture ( I actually have a Vulture in my Sheriff Sack level which I think is one of the prizes if you want it ) | 2010-02-22 12:02:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
Wow, what a nice list of birds! This is proving more promising than I thought! | 2010-02-23 03:12:00 Author: GreyMRP Posts: 588 |
Well, see, if they are somehow prizes, we know that we'll somehow benefit from them...hahaha. On the other hand, I like levels that look really nice, if they're trying to display something. It makes me work a LOT harder. ^_^ | 2010-02-23 20:56:00 Author: Ragfell Posts: 729 |
