I noticed the lack of contest LBP PSP... (Theres only been one) And was wondering if people would be willing to compete in a contest even if I have no real prize to offer? (Other than the fact that you can mention it in your levels description)

I think this would be a great idea. It's a shame Cambridge haven't done any official competitions yet. It might do something to liven up to community a bit.

I was planning on holding some sort of unofficial contest once I completed Lava Flows Pt. 1. I thought it would be cool to have a 'new intro" contest, because It would be a lot of fun to see if any of us could recreate that magical feeling of the introduction.

Ha, well, yeah I guess I'm fairly predictable. Regarding contests in general though, I really think we should come up with one of some description, and I don't think it should necessarily be one that requires people to make an entire level. What would be great would be something that encourages as many people as possible to enter and that doesn't take up as much time as creating a level. I have no idea what kind of thing to suggest, though. I had an idea today that would have been awesome two weeks or so ago - a contest to design a minigame based on an event in the Winter Olympics, but that's going to be over pretty soon so it would be a bit untimely.

Or a "Create the best boss" Contest. Everyone would just create one boss that can be huge, great looking, technically innovative...

There are many unofficial competitions on the Competition thread where you can win rare stickers and xp, but so far as you can see from the here, we are lacking any official ones. But our ideas are pretty awesome too.

What about the Flying Machine contest? And the Vehicle Triathalon contests? They were all big competitions.
