The only reason Mm has not done this or spliotsceen is because it will make the frame rate drop as it will have to render almost the hole lvl not just a section.

@bak: As I posted in the similar thread: No, because rendering would be done on each separate PS3. As long as this is an online-only feature, the stress on the rendering and the netcode should be pretty much the same as it is now.

Rtm makes a strong point. Do you notice slowdown when you play through the level in online create? No. Then why expect it to cause slowdown in play mode?

Instead of a switch, I'd rather have it be an option for your level like 'Locked?', 'Select Icon', etc.
