The Dojo of PlatformingLittlewit Travel far into china to learn from the master of platforming This is my latest level. It is pretty much all a platforming level. The difficulty of it shouldn't be too too hard for people who play LBP a lot. Heres some screenies in no particular order http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12939 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12934 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12937 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12935 Check it out! Don't forget to post some feed back and in return i'll give you some for one of your levels! | 2010-02-18 07:30:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |

Thanks. I really put a lot of time into these levels to try and make them the best they possibly can! | 2010-02-18 15:16:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |
I will try to play this later. | 2010-02-19 00:34:00 Author: austimerr Posts: 385 |

I'll take a look at it! It might help though if you used F4F (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=7962-Feedback-For-Feedback), people might be more willing to play and give feedback then. | 2010-02-19 04:45:00 Author: RCIX Posts: 250 |

Hahaa I do. I meant that some Meanie head played my level and rated it 1 star and didn't even finish it So i took it down and republished it so it wouldn't scare away the non-meanie heads | 2010-02-19 05:58:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |

Ah,it's best then to use the "Post new F4F thread" button instead of the regular one. I think it is an F4F thread ahaha | 2010-02-19 07:14:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |

This looks pretty awesome, I'll give this a go ASAP. Pretty rare that someone gets gameplay and looks right at the same time, but you seem to have done it. Reminds me of Takeshi's Castle | 2010-02-19 14:10:00 Author: Holguin86 Posts: 875 |

Very good level. It looks great and plays very well, it's no often that a level has good difficulty. 5 stars and one heart. Played your other levels too. I left a comment on this one and the fort one in LBP. | 2010-02-19 23:23:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Tried to play this last night only to discover you'd taken it down. I'll try again to play it. Hang in there about people slamming your level with bad ratings... happens to us all at one point. | 2010-02-19 23:42:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
I couldnt finish. I got stuck at the part where those things move and you jump up them. | 2010-02-20 00:34:00 Author: austimerr Posts: 385 |

Yeah Sorry bout dat, i was gonna republish it right away but then i thought of an idea for my new level that im working on! It's back up now, i think it has 7 plays and 2 hearts with 4 stars hahah. I couldnt finish. I got stuck at the part where those things move and you jump up them. Haha the platforms that disappear? Yes that part is quite difficult. . . hope you didn't rate it bad cuz you got stuck! | 2010-02-20 00:36:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |
dude this level is amazing heart and five stars! | 2010-02-20 05:15:00 Author: XaioXaiomaster45 Posts: 1 |

Good level! i liked all the platforming and it was certainly fun. 4 stars, splended tag (i think) and a heart (i think). When you have time, can you review my level (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=23078-Broken-Dreams-Part-2-Advanced-Training#post399624)? | 2010-02-24 06:20:00 Author: RCIX Posts: 250 |
Great level, it was a good suprise playing it(because it was so good). Would you mind making all the checkpoints infinite though? I don't mind the challenge, but it starts to get frustrating when you're on your last life on a regular checkpoint | 2010-02-24 16:43:00 Author: Unknown User |
wow. this one is a hard level to complete. i think there are only two that completed the level according to the 1 player high scores i saw a couple of days ago. i've tried maybe four times and keep getting stuck at the same place, the sliding platforms with the green gas on either side. it's a nice change to have this kind of difficulty (made even more difficult because there aren't any infinite check points used) in a level that has such a pleasing level design. you’ve taken the island template and made some enhancements that really make it your own. one that comes to mind is the cut out designs with blue glass in the fountain area and the sliding wooden platforms section. i liked the way each platforming element gradually rises in difficulty. from jumping narrow pillars in race mode, to where i am at: sliding platforms that, even within the challenge itself, gets more difficult as you get further and further up the top. from platforms that move relatively slow, to a little faster, to ones with hazards like spikes and fire at the tips, to the rather insane speed of the platforms at the top. i am a couple of hops from making it through, but always die because i can’t contain the adrenalin rush being so close and inevitably i make a dumb mistake. lol. it’s that kind of difficulty, challenging but never frustrating. i want to go back and try again fueled by wanting to conquer the challenge, and also by curiosity as to what the rest of the level is like. anyway, it is true there aren’t infinite checkpoints, but i do appreciate that in the place where i am stuck, there are three checkpoints within the area that you can go back to if the current checkpoint you are at has dwindled to its last life. even though i’m still anticipating what the rest of the level is like, this would be one that i would definitely recommend to people who truly appreciate a good, well designed platforming challenge. EDIT 1: got through the sliding wooden platforms on the first try! yaaaay! got a$$ toasted on third set of non grabbable wheels. booooo! EDIT 2: FINISHED! whew! i guess all those failures paid off as the sliding platforms seem so much easier now. right after that there is a deviously innocent looking swing line section that takes you to the ninjas... this is a nice transition after the difficulty of the sliding platform area. gives the player a sort of breather for the final challenge which can be very, very tricky. excellent level. | 2010-02-24 17:24:00 Author: nirvana Posts: 9 |
Wow, my thread made it to cool levels? Nice! Hahahaa thats why I've been steadily getting more plays! Wow! Thank you so much for this input! I never thought of my level gradually increasing in difficulty. . . I'm glad you think of it that way! I never realized how hard this level actually is hahaha! Probably because I've played it so many times testing it, that it all seems too easy! I have been thinking of going back and adding Infinite checkpoints. . . but I think I like it as it is. If I get too many complaints I might though haha! Haha, I'm glad you liked my blue cutouts. In truth, all i did to make those was rotate the crescent shape and place it in a Japanese-Chinese lookin' character design. I can't thank you enough for this! I'll take all suggestions into account! Thanks guys! | 2010-02-25 05:32:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |
It is a very fun level to play if you like challenge. I went through with some friends the other day and yep, there's a steady ramp up in difficulty as you go along but it's really rewarding when you get through it. I think more experienced players will appreciate your brand of platforming - I know I did. One of those hearts is mine - and 5 stars too. Now if I could just get a working ps3 I'd play it again! lol Nice job on this one. | 2010-02-25 05:55:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Haha thanks Morgana I've changed the checkpoints to Infinite lives because they're haven't been too many completions of it! Hopefully you guys find it a bit easier | 2010-02-28 02:26:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |
Just got around to playing this and I had a blast. It's definitely tough in some areas, but its also a lot of fun! I loved the visual style. Very similar to the Island levels in story mode, but with a lot of great additions like the sensei. He looked great. The rest of the level looked good as well and their were somem great ideas in there. The section with the four sets of two sponges comes to mind immediately. I loved that part! My only frustrations came during the wheel sections at the end. I felt they were a bit too hard, but I still made it through! Overall, a very tough but fun adventure! Nice job! | 2010-03-04 17:20:00 Author: mrsupercomputer Posts: 1335 |
I see the words platforming and difficult...I will be onto this one at some point! Give me good bubble distribution too and we are on to a winner! | 2010-03-04 17:35:00 Author: jackofcourse Posts: 1494 |
I see the words platforming and difficult...I will be onto this one at some point! Give me good bubble distribution too and we are on to a winner! Ahhh haha. Sadly, I haven't put bubbles in the level, mostly because its mostly races Hope it doesn't affect how much you like it that much! Haha Just got around to playing this and I had a blast. Whoa, mrsupercomputer played my level, and LIKED it? *Faints* Haha thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, it is pretty difficult there at the end, but I kinda wanted it to be like that. Thanks for saying my sensei looks great, I didn't think he looked that great but, you saying that reassures me Thanks a lot! | 2010-03-04 21:17:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |
Big thanks to the spotlight crew for choosing my level! Couldn't have asked for any greater privilege! | 2010-03-12 22:41:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |

Congratulations on the spotlight. Wow, this level was great! Very hard, but so rewarding to get to the scoreboard. Five stars and a heart, and a heart for you as a creator too! | 2010-03-13 22:46:00 Author: VelcroJonze Posts: 1305 |
actually, bug found. respawning at the scoreboard kills you. theres another checkpoint not too far behind, but it's a little irritating. minor quibble though, as it doesnt break the game entirely | 2010-03-15 02:37:00 Author: monstahr Posts: 1361 |
I played this today, and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was something like the first level of the Islands, only nicer and more difficult. It was a great level, and plenty of fun to play... The only problems I had were that the sensei guy's face looked rather generic (especially with the magic mouth) and (though I'm not sure if this happens very often) at the part where you aren't supposed to let go of the sponge, but it got stuck above where you fight the ninjas. It didn't do it the second time, though. F4F is in my signature, if you'd like. | 2010-03-17 02:14:00 Author: Darth Posts: 186 |
Finally got around to playing this Some great challenges in there. A really nice difficulty. The parts where you have to climb upwards and the platforms are moving side to side in and out of gas is really good. I managed to break it in a few places. Firstly, right at the start if you jump up on to the rock, you can jump across on the roof of the first part and escape the level. And on the part where the platforms lower on winches and you have to jump over them, somehow I managed to flip it over so it didn't lower enough to jump on again. It wasn't an issue as I was already across it, but if I had died I'd have been stuck On the whole it's really great fun. I love levels like this and definitely wish there was more of them! Oh and I smashed your top score | 2010-03-19 15:13:00 Author: jackofcourse Posts: 1494 |
Oh and I smashed your top score This, my friend is unacceptable. I must smash your score * Adds secret bubbles * jk xD | 2010-03-19 23:02:00 Author: SupaSack34 Posts: 180 |
