I dont think anybody noticed.. but we are 250 levels away from 2 million levels out there... 2 million levels.. Isnt that amazing! If this isnt news.. I dont know what is! Lets celebrate! *takes out some cola and a party hat saying 2m ftw!*

lbp is now 2.000123 levels rivh.. i agree.. most are crappy cheetah rocket bomb survival with real water and free rollefcoasters!

You may it sound as if thousands of good levels in something like this isn't an accomplishment. Yes, most of those levels aren't good... but there are still thousands of good ones. What other level editing software can say that? WHAT?!

It's just a shame though when you think about how many of those are actually worth looking at... About every member here has five good levels. If we have about 200 commonly visiting members. That's 1,000 levels, I'd say that's a lot of good levels, some games will only have 20 levels. Take 1,000+Story(50)+GOTY(18?)+Good levels, but creators arn't members. (About 2,000)=3,068. You know what this means? That's a lot of bad levels. (But there's probably a lot more good levels.)

Even though I already made a topic on this way back (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=22594-Well-we-are-nearing-2M-Levels&p=391408#post391408). But what the hey. Well we can't exacly celebrate on the # of GOOD levels, since thats hard to track and we all have our opinions on what a good level is. So celebrating on the total amount is just as good.

Wow, 2 million? I'm gonna party like it's 1999! Whew.... there's a bunch of them I haven't played yet.... I'll get right on that. Sometimes it's a little daunting when the stats tell you there have been over 1000 levels published since the last time you logged in.

Thank goodness for the spotlight here at LBPC - but think how many equally good levels are never seeing the light of day!

2 million... That's one heck of a milestone. If our estimates are right and there's 10,000 levels sitting out there that are of a high quality I think the 60 bucks we each shelled out for LPB has been well worth it. I still can't believe how much time I've spent with this game. Hehe, there should be a count underneath levels published... Number of levels published: 2,000,134 Number of GOOD levels published: 10,112

Ok - first thing about doing a beta is you really shouldn't talk about it in the general threads. MM will get a hold of you if your invited into the beta. They have a private forum where you can talk about the beta stuff you will gain access to once you get the info from MM. So yea, keep an eye out in your email - it will explain what you have to do and keep in mind if you test you'll be under a non-disclosure agreement which means you can't talk about it with anyone outside of the beta.

The ut community has almost as many levels as lbp. And I think about 40% of all ut levels are worth playing. I miss the good old UT editing years...
